You're a retard, christ. For those who use it correctly, it's amazing.
Yeah, but unfortunately, it's not enough for a busy GAF thread, never mind when some git on another board decides to hotlink the full image. Their bandwidth limit is just too small.

thumbnails

They provide you with code for thumbnails, but people go to lengths to post full-size pictures. Note neo over in the other thread--thumbnail generation from imagevenue. Same deal, but hey, look at that, there's no longer a reliable image host that can colocate images with a single button click, nor any with a shell extension.

I know what you're saying, and using the thumbnails has always worked just fine (even for GAF, IGN, etc.). But damn it, I HATE it when you double-click your file when uploading and it registers it as clicking an advertisement.

Exactly. Mat: I'm just referring to what Jonny is saying. It's great if it's used correctly, but since it seems like 95% of the time people never use the thumbnails the bandwidth gets eaten up quicker than anything.

Jeez, for $6 a month you can get a webhost that gives you a decent amount of bandwidth every month.

I have my avatar hosted there, even with my 150k animated gif avatar I haven't hit the bandwidth cap. Smart use of "Export to web" and resizing in Photoshop will let you host larger images.

Well, you also only post 1 time per day... that can't hurt.
