Importers: Does this game blow?

hahahahahaa

maybe a 4/10. I'm a pretty big Gundam fan and I do like SEED and FREEDOM a good deal, but I spent about 30 mins with that game before tossing it on the shelf forever in disgrace. Controls are terrible, camera is terrible, graphics aren't even very good; the only thing good about the game is the short 2-3 min opening based off the Astray, Astray R, Astray X manga (which are in the game as well but they have no real story, just random missions in mission mode).

Wait for the upcoming Federation vs. Zaft game by Capcom if you want a decent game where you can play as FREEDOM. Avoid this game at all costs.

I read that as Federation vs. Zangief by Capcom. Too bad :(

Has anyone played the new Gundam Battle Tactics PSP game yet? I've been hearing really good things about it; it sounds like a great Armored Core style game with a decent amount of customization.

I heard that Never Ending Tomorrow is similar to Encounters in Space (which I actually loved), is this correct?

Yeah, it's by the exact same team and runs on some type of modified EiS engine I think. I never played EiS so I can't tell you much about how simlar they are.

Haven't played it yet, but it's by BECK who did the Gundam rpg (which was good), is doing the Eureka 7 game coming in October (which looks good), and is doing the Samurai Champloo game.

So it might be alright, they seem competent.

Encounters in Space had some really fun rail shooter levels that I go back and play all the time. If Never Ending Tomorrow has something similar, then I'm buying it.
