Impractical Jokers : The Movie

Impractical Jokers has been a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm Canadian and I just found out there was a movie released tonight in the United States! No listings for it over here.... and no news that it's coming....

Did anyone see it?? Is it any good?

I found them really funny at first but after a few years my interest kind of died. Plus there was the stuff that quietly came out about how it's not quite as real as it claims it is, like most reality TV, and that further made me lose interest. For fans I would actually suggest not looking into it and just keep enjoying the show it kind of ruined it for me.

I'd like to, but it's not playing near me. Colorado Springs is ranked 39 on the most populated cities in the United States, but nope.

I tried. TESD for life.

huge fan of the show, watched the movie with my wife and the first 30 minutes we were very confused and thought it was terrible. Some skits are funny but everything else is cringe worthy.

Watched yesterday. Agreed : Confusing start, its a weird mix of fiction and reality but neither are entertaining.

And its more weird fiction than fun skits.

Love the show, hated the movie.

My favourite ever little slice from the show is Q taking selfies in the doctors waiting room. It's so fucking ridiculous and funny. With a proper DSLR

Terrible movie. It's nothing like the show except for like 15 minutes. I expected a Jackass style movie where it's the show but with a much bigger budget but it's not.

I agree with Nikana, This was not a good movie. When they did their normal games it was ok but this is not a structure or idea that ever needed a plot or a movie. It should have been jackass style where it was just their show to a bigger level. I was completely let down by it.

You'd have to pay me to watch this. I can watch some pretty crappy and trashy TV as a guilty pleasure, but watching 2 episodes of this show in a row is like having a lobotomy.

Yup. They got too carried away with the excitement of starring in a movie and forgot to focus on what made the show worthwhile. The narrative bits were disastrous. Dumb plot and the guys cant act.

I am all for getting your passion project done but dont throw the name Impractical Jokers on it as an attempt to get people to see it.

I LOVE the show but thought the structure of the movie was a mess. It may have been the last flick i watched in theaters and I recall telling my buddy afterward I would have made it much more in the vein of Jackass. Just multiple punishments one round after the other and trim the hell out of the storyline.

I liked the movie, but will agree that the scripted segments weren't great. I would have been fine with the jackass style where they just did a series of challenges like in the show.

Joe telling the head of security for the Atlanta Hawks is never not funny. Same for Sal with the tiger.
