Saw this on another forum and decided to mooch it. :p

Each protest sign you see on this page has been
autographed and will be auctioned off via eBay

All proceeds will be donated to Music for America,
our favorite political youth mobilization effort.
Music for America works through the music
community to get young people engaged
in the political process.

(Interpol)

GREAT sign.

Here's what David Cross has on his btw:

Unique among the nations, America recognized the source of our character as being godly and eternal, not being civic and temporal. And because we have understood that our source is eternal, America has been different. We have no king but Jesus.

-John Ashcroft

Speak for yourself Ashcroft.

On Bill Mahr the former Canadian Prime Minister said that if a nominee for her nation said they believed their country was set on a path by God and they questioned the legitimacy of evolution, that nominee would have no chance of being elected. Man we're dumb.

The lad above me is correct. I'm seriously considering bidding on some of my favorites. Any guesses as to what the prices will be?

You see, it's this kind of talk (if it's an actual quote, I wouldn't have any idea where to factcheck on that) that scares the crap out of me.

I have no problem with morals, at all. Nor do I really have a problem with religion. I wouldn't mind if it went away, but if it makes you happy, whatever.

What I do have a problem with this is these kind of people do not keep their morals to themselves. And if you're in a position with that much power, you might start wanting to think that people NEED your morals to live a proper life. And they'll push them on you, if given the chance.

Oh I agree. It's ok to be religious but unless you're really open-minded, keep your opinions to your damn self.
