Indigo Prophecy no longer available on Steam?

Speaking of this, every single time I browse somebody's Steam list and see OutRun 2006, I cry a little.

I guess the 360 version is good enough (not as robust, obviously), but it's just the fact that I can't get it that hurts.

I would rather say keys only exist when the developer wants you to register it somewhere on their end. In the case of Indigo Prophecy it would be plain stupid for the developer to require Steam to use an internal list of keys because there wouldn't be a single use/benefit.
Yeah, I was also under the impression that only games which need CD-keys for outside authentication purpose (for example multiplayer components such as GFWL or 3rd party DRM such as securom or tages) can have the "ran out of keys" problem. Of course, you aren't necessarily provided with said key, since the authentication can be done in a non transparent, behind the scenes way during the first time installation process.

I have this game. I got stuck on a particular stealth sequence and after 10 tries gave up and never played it again.

This game hasn't been available on steam for a while now so it's not really major news.

Games removed from Steam

You may be interested to view that thread so as to not be shocked by any other revelations of games that no longer exist. There are still some inaccuracies such as Brink being available in the UK now I believe, but it is still relatively informative
I'd never heard of Codename Gordon, installed and ready for playing later now, cool.

I noticed this when it was pulled last March. It still resides in my wishlist but the link leads to nothing and hasn't shown up in the store since.

That's kind of disappointing. Not that it was a particularly great game, but it had an interesting concept and the first couple hours before it gets completely retarded are actually fun.

Trust me, the less people that play this atrocity the better. If anybody's still interested in playing the game, then just download the demo. It includes the best and only good part of the game. Its all downhill from there.

Remember, this is the game that brought us this (spoilers, but who gives a fuck with this story):

Man.

What the fuck was that.

The hell? HAHAHA
On-Topic: How are you supposed to run out of keys anyway? Unless the pub isn't generating more? Which kind of sounds weird by itself. If someone wants to buy Indigo Prophecy now might as well let them. I'll probably never understand why they do that.

The list looks like a Wall of Shame. Big lulz for Raven squad being taken off of Steam. The hours I spent playing that game are ones I'll never get back.

yeah buying the Raven Squad + Section 8 pre-purchase combo pack is still my biggest regret on Steam
