hnnng that texture work

So I was playing the demo again, and for the life of me, I can't quite figure out Zebei's role. The way I play, I use Tungar for reliable AOE damage, Ajna for high single target damage and Razmi for her healing and slow. Zebei however seems to do less damage than Ajna and doesn't hit groups as well as Tungar.
He gains a ton of Iddhi meter. Aside from that though, yeah, he definitely feels a little less focused than the others, but I imagine is there to show an entirely ranged character at work. He does some stuff that's not really useful in the Prototype, like maintain air juggles and general combo extension, that will probably pay off a lot in the full game.

It'd be really interesting to learn how these guest deals are struck. Do you just go to Yacht Club or Drinkbox and say "Hey guys, we're developing this game and we'd love for your characters to make an appearance"?

A million times this. This is extremelly relevant to my future interests.

I'll be honest, I'm not feeling this one quite as much.
I know her outfit isn't supposed to fit her, but as a result any attempt to picture how she would look in game, especially in motion, just seems wrong.

I'm not sure I get this. How does it not fit her and how do you imagine it impacting her movement?

I don't envy being a dev running a crowd fund project. I'd probably randomly wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat checking my phone to refresh the page.

Definitely by tomorrow, we're less than 8k away

Do you think hitting one million will result in a funding bump? People being exciting for reaching that milestone, or people who had been hesitant beforehand?

I imagine it will. The closer it gets to 1.5, the faster the funding amount will go up.

Pretty much.

Joe Mad approached us about a Battle Chasers crossover initially, which is what started all of this.

I already had good relationships with most of the other devs already, and just got contacts for the others through friends, industry connections, etc.

A little paperwork, and it's done.

It's very tempting to do this, but also ill-advised - pretty much the best way to drive yourself crazy.

Now, if your campaign is doing well, it can be exhilarating. But there are always spikes and lulls, and you feel everything change pretty strongly if you don't distance yourself from it a bit.

And with the stakes as high as they are, it's hard to restrain yourself.

Nice, thanks. I really like that it was that simple.

Really nice shoutout from the Battle Chasers crew in their latest KS update!

I've been trying to spread the word to my friends to look into backing you all. I know at least one has, but at least or two has felt burned by some other projects, (Project Phoenix, even though it has NOTHING to do with any of the reliability or pedigree you represent, still got their money and has now made them wary) so they're at least aware.

Spreading awareness at least helps, they know you have a much better standard behind you. I'm trying to get them to grab the PS4 demo next time they're online too, to see what you've already been able to demonstrate.

Every time I hear people talk about Indivisible on podcasts / etc. and they preface it by going "btw full disclaimer Lab Zero are old friends of ours" I'm like *raises eyebrow*

Finally. I wish we could've hit this milestone by the original deadline (10 hours ago) but whatever, Things have been slow now but at least they've never hit our slowest points in the past. I'm hoping crossing into seven figures (and maybe some media updates on this fact) encourage fence sitters who were at least somewhat interested to jump over.

I also wish the work I had to get done didn't require me to be glued to Word, Excel and various other statistical packages. Makes it too easy to check the IGG in an effort to procrastinate :P

Congratulations on the 1 million! 66% is hit, so that is good.

According to some gamers, journalists are not allowed to have friends or social connections. But that's a discussion for another thread.

Mainly she looks too short for the armor

I don't get any sense of that. The armor seems to fit her perfectly in the image and the context offered by the description is that she is passing as her brother among the fellow warriors, rather than appearing to be wearing over sized armor. That would indicate that there is no significant difference in size or ability between the two. Certainly I could be wrong on that point, and Ravidrath can correct me if so, but the story we have indicates that she is at least as able as her brother and that she is indistinguishable from him visually while wearing the armor.

Holy crap one million. Definitely a huge milestone and I think it knocks away a big mental barrier. Feeling good about this campaign.

I agree, and I think the ill-fittedness is on purpose since she is in disguise. I trust we'll get some cool attacks from her either way.

Just upgraded from the $60 tier to the $125 tier. Now this will be the most expensive shirt I'll own! Huzzah for $1 million!

EDIT: Hope that charge finishes pending soon. I've now got $26 in my account until the $60 redfund comes in.

Not to be a downer, but why are people so confident that 500k is a sure-fire thing?
Nothing is sure-fire like that.
Compared to how much was needed before and the time remaining this situation seems like a no-brainer. Mostly due to the benefits of the extension.

I was only going to back this for $30 since I am poor, but I decided to go in for $60. This is my first time ever backing a project, and I am doing it not just because I like how the game is going so far, but because Lab Zero is one of the best development teams out there. Good people with an abundance of talent.

I think the team needs to open up another $10,000 tier reward, though - you never know who is out there willing to give.

Crowd funding projects regularly make around 30% (if not more) of their funding in the last week and right now it's looking like Indivisible will be at 75% or 80% by that point. Also, unlike something like Red Ash, backers have a lot of faith in Lab Zero and will continue to spread word of mouth.

I think they might have been boned without the extension but now I'm a lot more confident it's gonna make it.
