Indivisible: Valkyrie Profile/Metroid, Indiegogo, PC/Mac/Linux/PS4/XB1 -- funded!

The Indivisible twitter just posted this document of Mike Z talking about the mechanics he plans to add in the full game. Two words: Dual Techs.

Wow, this is all fantastic. I am very excited. I hope MikeZ will at least consider letting people move defensive actions ([perfect] blocking) to the d-pad instead of the other buttons in the menu. Very excited that he has already thought of perfect guarding.

We're probably going to have to mix things up a bit before it's over.

Monsters, other art, etc.
Makes sense. If you have any art for locales, I think that would be pretty cool to see.

Dual techs sound amazing. I'm all for anything that encourages camaraderie or interaction among the party. Slowly budding relationships are a big part of what defines memorable characters for me, so I really hope that there's a ton of that in the final game.

Hmm, what's with Crowdcharts not getting updated anymore? Their total has been stuck at $1,108,355 for like at least 7 hours now...

EDIT: Also, who else would like this little guy (his name is FEZ) kicking the crap out of all sorts of mythological creatures, in the most adorable ways imaginable?

His name is Gomez actually...

Dunno if this was stated, but are the incarnations going to have anything similar to social links?

love that kinda stuff in games

Well, in Mike's blog post linked earlier, he mentions there will be dual techs, "learned based on certain party members’ affinities for each other." I'm not sure if these are fixed, story-based affinities, or if you can somehow influence them, though.

Dual Tech in Action (found this on Skullheart - not sure of original artist):

Also I thought this was cute (though maybe the smile/face is weird)?

Artist is g1138 or greenmarine. Not linking source cause there's some NSFW stuff on the tumblr but I'm sure you can find it if you're really curious.

We're thinking there's some kind of affinity rating for using them often and together, but not sure how involved that system will be.

And there will be personal storyline quests for the Incarnations, and completing them will unlock their full potential. I guess you could kind of think of them like the loyalty quests in Mass Effect 2 and 3.

You count my money in on that 75%. Just checked out the prototype and was sold.

Thanks so much for your support!

I'd love it if Ajna's Inner Realm turned out similar to or better than the Suikoden series "castle" feature. It was fun watching your castle grow and become lively, with all your characters interacting and having their own going-ons whenever you dropped in.

That was the inspiration for it, at least.

Not gonna lie, I wanted the character design to be more Skullgirls in nature, but the game looks cool and the character design is still good so whatever

Yea, that's the angle I was looking for too. There are some great designs though, like the guy with the sword hat and the tiger mage, but a lot of the later ones just feel really boring. Maybe I'm just biased because I've seen the ones I like in motion, but the other ones are static portraits.

I previously backed for $60 and now I want to increase my support to $125. If I can I will bump it to $175 when I get paid again.

How do I increase my pledge? The site gives me an option to select a higher cost perk but makes it seem like I will pay the full perk amount. Does it only charge me the difference based on previous payments or do I have to increase my pledge some other way. I want to actually get the perk level so I don't want to just use the "No Perk, I just want to contribute option..."

There should be an "upgrade pledge" button in your account. Pick your new tier, it will charge you the full price of the tier, but also refund your previous pledge. It's kinda dumb, but it works...

Done, turns out there was a help icon that said the original pledge would be refunded. I dunno. Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade again before the campaign ends.

This seems to only work sometimes. Otherwise you have to manually click "refund" on your old contribution listing. IGG needs to make this system easier.

But anyway, its great to see so many people increasing their pledges!!

Campaign still seems to be humming along at a decent clip, hopefully it keeps going. *knocks on wood.*

PS: ZOMG we're down to single digit days left now!

I hope people don't mind if I ramble, but I just need to talk a moment about unfortunate timing for a moment. I'm actually a big art junky, so a part of me would really like to go for that Patrons of Arts tier. Alas, if this campaign happened six months ago, or maybe even a few weeks from now I could probably swing it.

Right now though, well I'd have to max out multiple sources of credit to do it right now. So, yeah I don't think I could do that and still call myself a responsible individual.

I'll do what I can tho. <_<;;

Yup, we've got more than a week left.

And, yes, all contributions will be refunded if we don't hit the goal.

Awesome. I remember you telling me a demo would be up on the EU store. I have only just now managed to find it. I'm playing through it as I type this and I'm instantly in love. The combat is so much fun. This will be the first game I back.

GOD THIS HAS TO MAKE IT

HNGHHHHHHH

I'm pretty i never wanted a campaign on KS to have sucess like i want this one to

Yeah. I think the last one that I really felt this strongly about was probably the Keep Skullgirls Growing campaign.

Lab Zero is something special.
