I'm 90% positive!

Just kidding! I did save manually after the last fight and it says 90% complete.

Ok. Try starting a new game and save as soon as u can and tell us what percentage you get. Just out of curiosity. Perhaps some stats carry over so you get 100% after a full (as in, fully powered up) second pt on Evil.

Basically that missing 10% might indeed refer to the Evil power ups, but you have to get them on a second playthrough cos you couldn't get all of them on your first Good one.

Will do, I'll the results post in about 20 mins.

just done 1st play evil ending and wow didt see that coming

so it was him all along lol cant wait to see what is coming

roll on inFAMOUS 2

Started a new game, completion says 89%. I guess that means you have to play through twice to get 100%?

I think so yeah. Go Evil route and unlock/upgrade the specific powers without bothering with anything else (shards etc) and u should get 100%.

Cool. I wanted to do an evil playthrough anyway (and get my first platinum), so it works out well!

Got my gigawatts. I probably should have downloaded it initially after i installed the game to get the power showing, instead of downloading before i had installed it :lol

Sheild
+ uber melee is fun!

Currently playing good/hard mode on my first time through. This game is seriously fucking awesome. Its hard to put it down.

I hardly used/upgraded the melee skills on my playthrough. I ought to do that if/when I replay it.

Yea i rarely use it. But with the gigawatt blades its a one shot kill at hero rank. So it may come in handy from now on.

I havent used alot of the skills you get in the game. Most of the time its just the standard move you always have that ive used. The rest just dont seem powerful enough to waste my electricity on. Spam that basic move like an idiot works wonders.

I just zap then melee, saves me my energy.

NOT enjoying the final battle on hard :(

Any tips? Having trouble on the last 1/4 of his health.

Ground attack he does = jump up when near and zap the things.
mass teleport = get ready to dodge.
him kneeling = spam megawatt.

His ground attack is frustrating because sometimes I can roll and dodge it and than other times it does damage.

Ok I cant seem to clear the bottom of the Historic district, no package missions or side missions.
have you finished the game? I spent ages trying to clear it before realising that it clears after you complete the final mission.

Have you died since you attempted to find it? Try dying and then going back?

Nope nothing its the part
where you first wake up at the beginning of the game

Oh ok thanks! :D

Finished the story.

+

- Fun and varied missions through out the game.
- Great skills development. Keeps the game feeling fresh all the way to the end.
- Steady 30 fps.
- Good mission structure. Perfect checkpoint system (a lot of games still do this horribly).
- Atmospheric setting. (and music!)
- Perfect controls.

-

- The 3 parts of the city don't look that different.
- Inconsistent graphics and short draw distance. (But hey! 30 fps locked... almost)
- Lame characters.

B+

I loved it.

So I just beat the game, great ending! :D

So I guess our next mission is to take down the red beast? I dont think Cole will be alone in the sequel.l

I just zapped the civilians to get the pizza. Awesome game so far, and I am assuming that there is a lot more awesomeness to come.

now on mission 37 and i really really can't be bothered to finish it off, all this island hopping :(.

not to mention that
the balloon mission is the most infuriating ever, the number of times the balloons are nowhere near a building tall enough to jump from to get on the balloon is ridiculous!

This was one of my favorite missions so far. I really felt like a badhass superhero, gliding from roof to roof with my energy shield activated, following that ballon. Great stuff.

Finally finished the game on good. Great game overall. I wasn't sure of buying it but i'm so glad i did. Ranks amongst my favourite ps3 games. It's by no means perfect, but it's fun.

Some thoughts:

positive: story, drop dead gorgeous cutscenes, the game can look really nice at times (especially during daytime), varied missions, good voice work and music, nice and easy controls, an open world platform and shooter mix, superhero powers which are gradually unlocked, comic book superhero look and feel, very nice textures, has an addictive gameplay quality, background story info with dead drops and tv's, good enemy AI

negative: frame rate, pop-in and aliasing (the engine could use some more work), city looks quite boring at night, each island should have looked more unique with a more distinct character, no stats page in the menu, cole sucking up to objects can be annoying (especially when jumping down), not enough enemy variety, it feels like zapping the same enemies over and over again sometimes + super vision and aiming from the enemies.

All in all, i'm impressed by Sucker Punch's game. My biggest complaint for me is the lack of different enemies.

Sucker Punch should make a sequel. There's a lot of untapped potential in this game type and IP. The foundation is there and working well.

Going to do some side missions and collect the dead drops and shards now.

Is it worth going through the story once again on evil. Are there different missions to be done. Does the story change a lot?

Oh snap!
I overwrote my Evil playtrough save game... i was in
The Warren
I have to start all over again :/

It's 147 shards for neon right?

I'm at 146 - from looking at maps on the internet it looks like there's a shard right at the far end of the bridge to the mainland (where you meet Moya right at the start of the game and have to drop all those light poles to get back under the bridge).

I *think* that's the one I've missed; and I've tried to get back over there, but you reach a platform about halfway across and can't jump up to the overhanging rope, or reach the pipes on the wall to climb around a barrier to carry on - I think I'm about halfway through the Warren, so I have Sonic Thrusters, but I'm hoping there's another power or better range or something that'll let me get back to under the far end of that bridge.

Anyone done this or am I fucked?

pleeeeeeeeeease help me :(

Im on the kessler fight (on hard) and its ridiculously hard, he just teleports right next to me so i don't have any time to get out of the way. even if i manage to dodge all of his attacks and he kneels to the floor to 'rest' my grenades don't even have time to explode by the time he is back up and killing me again :(

That shard is the first one you get, it is unavoidable, you can't get back to the mainland without getting it.

Awesome. I couldn't remember that part too well. Missing one in Neon then, and I've already got the one on the pier you have to use the thrusters to get to, hmmm.

As soon as he stops teleporting, just roll to the left/right. Do it asap, its quite easy to dodge. When he kneels, dont use grenades. Just use the regular lightning bolt or spam some megawatt hammers if you have some spare power

Don't grenade him, press triangle, I can't exactly remember what that move is called but it works well.

As for me, I'm on my second playthrough and the game bumped me to Hard difficulty after the first mission, will I still get the Hard trophy when I complete the game?

i ended up switching to normal for the final boss just so i could complete the damn thing, every mission in hard til the boss fight lol.

did we ever find out who moya really was or was that not explained?

and also...

why did future cole want to kill current cole? i understand the initial stuff was to force cole to become a better person and to save the city etc which kessler didn't do, but inviting cole down for the final fight? doesn't make any sense surely, since if he kills his future self how can he exist? or is it alternate reality stuff?

I'd assume it's branching future stuff. i.e. if he kills that version of his "future self" then it will change him (for the best or worst).

I assume that Kessler wanted his past self (cole) to kill him because he knew it would be a significant experience, life changing even. Either change your life, or become what I have become.

I don't think Kessler ever intended to kill Cole. He could have done that with a moments notice, since he is significantly stronger than Cole. He just wanted him to be stronger for the future.

Bah. So what's the best way to gain exp in the endgame? I started out with 5000 of 12000 needed and played for hours looking for the shards, and ended up with 8000... that last 4000 seems like it's going to take forever :(

start a new game ? :D

OMFG finally got the last shard! I was 348 yesterday and spent a good portion of the night and this morning finding my 349th... then thankfully remembered someone here saying check the
historic district tall building since the shard doesn't SHOW UP on L3 until you're near it!!! AHHH BUG?!
. that really pissed me off :P was all over the other 2 districts looking every road/coast/train track. ugh

Not really a
bug. Your shard sensor can only detect so far in 3 dimensions.

I need advice too! I've got every updrade for good powers except for megawatt hammer, i need 5500 for it, I'm at 3800 right now, completed the game 100%, all territories taken. So there are rarely any enemies around. Any tips??? I need the trophy, :( been healing civilians but I rarely encounter them. HELP!!!!

I beat the game on Good. Going through on Evil now.

Pros:
- Graphics and sound are very solid.
- Soundtrack is good (a tad over-rated though)
- Climbing walls and jumping around feels awesome. Controls are perfect.
- Good story until the ending.
- Really fun to find shards, wander around.

Cons:
- Frame-rate and pop-in issues.
- Too sticky at times.
- Unskippable cutscenes (sucks for 2nd playthrough).
- Repetitive side-missions.
- Ending is pretty blegh.

one think i still dont get is wtf was up with the guy saying how long he was talking? every time he say somthing like

ouch, for other ppl right before the end game, do the mission
Vengeance, and just let yourself die when the second turret truck comes in at 75/100 charge of the last station. You will respawn at that same station and you can just keep calling down lightning on the oncoming hordes and get x11 bonuses. Die, repeat. Fastest way as you can get around 1200 xp every 3 min ish.

That's his remaining time until the First Sons can track his position,
