If you're good just use your upgraded shockwave which will propel enemies into the air where they slow down. Launch grenades at the guy.

Beat this with the Good run, tried playing Prototype...yea, not my thing after this. Infamous went back in after the third mission.

I think the only thing I liked was the running up buildings, but Infamous did a great job of making you feel like a mortal superhero--powerful, but still mortal.

Christ, I got something similar when I tried to leeched on a enemy. =(

Damn will be backing my saves and hoping for the best.

Uhm, I get that, but it's a sign of hardware failure. Happens more frequently these days, and the system is all but toast.

I had trouble to, then found shockwaving them into a wall (providing they are 2-3 meters away from it) makes it shit-tonnes easier as they get someone stuck and 'slowly' slide down the wall giving you plenty of time to line up your sticky bomb

Stunt 12: Flying Melee has been a bitch. I've tried a few different ways including shockwaving them against a wall and then doing melee and also meleeing them off a building. Tried for about 45 mins, no luck.

Just keep doing combos on civilians. You'll get it at least once.

5 shards left :(. I seriously don't know if I can comb through like that again... I don't wanna leave it like that though.

Here's how I got it: 2nd island, look for those spider/scorpion/critter-swarms. Let them get close, and wait for them to lunge at you. This is where you throw a grenade at them.

Another way is how a friend of mine got it: while playing evil, find a massive gathering of civilians, shockwave them towards a wall and unleash a barrage of grenades. One of them is bound to stick.

It's still not 100% sure to work, but it's a different approach that might suit you: the first or second move in your melee-combo will get the victim airborn. Completing the combo, however will not give you the stunt. Once the victim is airborn, wait, so the combo is broken. Then before he lands, melee again.

I'm on my second playthrough, evil on hard. It's extremely rare that I'm playing a game through again right after I've finished it. I'll probably go for the Platinum trophy as well.

My question for the inevitable shard hunt that's about to happen: do you get a message that you've collected all shards on an island, like you do with the dead drops? That would make it more manageable.

No. Sadly.

Got my first platinum! And my save now says 100%, though it said 90% almost the entire second playthrough up until I was ready to fight the final boss.

Is it just me, or is Hard not really much different to Normal? You get less XP, but that seemed to be the worst of it.

Goin on through this game, about to do the
chasing of Alden on the bridge to the Historical District, but I want to figure out how to finish off the last two parts of Warren, must be a couple hidden missions (already done two 'find the hidden package' missions so I'm not sure)

Yeh im on the Historic district now, but there is one zone in the Warren left, and I have no idea how to get the mission started. Its just stuck there.

I've got a similar mission in the Historic District that's failing to activate. I beat the game and have combed through the area - it's the parking garage next to the blast zone - and no dice. Ah well.

Thats a find the hidden package mission you get from defeating 1 of the 3 enemies that randomly spawn there. Took me a while to get that one as well.

For guys stuck with one or two areas in a district left to clear it's one of two possibilities:

1) It's a hidden package mission and you need to go around killing enemies (kill them to death, don't incapacitate them) until one of them turns into a mission icon.
2) The NPC that gives you the mission is dead or incapacitated. Either kill yourself or save and reload so that they respawn.

Ah, then in that case I'm screwed - I did that mission earlier, but once I found the package it didn't credit the area. Weird. Ah well, I'm not going for a platinum trophy or anything so I'm not terribly concerned, just mildly annoyed.

Melee a guy off a roof. There will be point where he's off the edge, you pop another punch and voila...Flying Melee.

I'm trying to take over all the territory but for some reason I can't find any missions in this area/ or even First sons to kill to get missions. Here are the areas that I have left. I remember doing one mission and not being rewarded for it, not even the mission end screen shows up.

As for the stunts I got 18/21, I need to meele kill 5 enemies in 30sec, which isn't hard but finding 5 enemies near the endgame is. Anyone have any suggestions on where I can do this? Does starting a new game allow me my current stunt count?

this game is amazing, been playing it non stop since I got home. What impresses me the most so far is the main story mission design (including some pure Sly Cooper-esque bits) and the variety in the side missions. I've been having so much fun doing those and collecting shards that I haven't even glanced at the achievement list yet, something I always do early on in an open world game. Higly, highly addictive game.

Sucker Punch, you magnificent bastards.

Mine was like this before the final boss fight. I said to hell with it, fought the last boss, and lo and behold after i won, those 3 territories were mine and i got the territory trophy for the Historic district.

Make a save, fight the last boss and see what happens.

Thanks for the help, I'll try that.

What about my stunts? if I start a new game and play on evil will I have to start over again from 0?

Yeah, the stunts start over.

But after you beat Kessler, the game leaves you there in the city. It doesn't automatically start over so you'll have time to do the stunts (if you can find any enemies)

Once you go to the menu and hit "start new game", then everything is wiped basically.

I completed this game last night, and overall I loved it. If I were to pick one word to describe the game, it would be "elegant". The controls are responsive, Cole usually does what I want him to and it just feels so good to run around and jump in this world. The story was actually pretty good too, it entertained me more than I thought it would.

There are some issues with the game - close combat can be awkward, Cole sometimes stuck to things I didn't want him to, I ran into some bugs that caused deaths, and there was slight repetition with the sewer missions. But in the end I can forgive these problems, because as a whole the game is extremely well put together. The pacing was excellent and I was rarely frustrated, which are two important factors to me.

I played through as an extreme goody-goody, and I'm going to start right back up and be as evil as possible.

I beat the game as a good guy last night. Easily the best game I've played this year, and certainly the best open world game I've played this generation.

Now I want Sly 4.

2 fucking shards!!!!!!! I've combed through the cities 3 fucking times and cannot find these last 2 shards. I have no idea where they could be. I'm pretty agitated by it.

Yup I got it that way too. I found it only works when you don't push in any direction on the analog stick instead just mash Circle when a enemy is very near the edge of a roof

Used the Lightning Storm for the first time last night (since the demo) and boy does it feel soooooo good. Was weird though as I got the last 2 stunts at once and didn't even realise till I saw the all stunts trophy come up (I was on top of the substation opposite the Gas Station obliterating everything in sight with unlimited power).

Most fun mission so far :D

I found there are plenty of shards that do not show up on your radar till you are 5-10 meters off ground level, especially in the Neon.

Thanks for these pointers. Going through an evil playthrough so I'll try the second one

This game really has me hooked.

I can't clearly describe exactly what element it is about this title which is addictive though.

Its that magical "something" which escapes other developers.

I had been enjoying myself a great deal up until the point where I was doing the substation missions in the Historic district.

Man.

Those missions had me making my "O-face" the entire time.

Spamming grenades, lightning hammers and then sending a swath of destruction with the lightning storm while they all floated in the air was spec-fuckin-tacular.

Playing the good side right now and I find myself patrolling in all of the alleys now because there's less chance of me frying innocent bystanders when I pop my karmic overload and simply turn the screen blue with lightning.

This game has surpassed Uncharted for me by quite a bit and is easily my most favourite game on the PS3. It's not perfect and it took a bit for me to love it as much as I do now but man...so good.

I got all the shards, heres a hint,
they may not be in the city

I just found ONE of those last night by a complete fluke back in the Neon district. Didn't show up on my mini map but I spotted it from a distance.

Oh Sucker Punch...how I wish you had notification regarding how many shards were left in each zone...

:*(

Just beat the game again on my evil, hard difficulty playthrough. Fully upgraded Arc Lightning works amazingly on
Kessler
.

Now it's time to find all those shards and get my platinum.

For those trying to get the Casey Jones trophy, don't do the side missions until you finish the main game. That way when you're on a train, enemies will still appear on roof tops and you can use precision to help.

Argh, I will be so happy once I get the Stunt for knocking 3 guys off a roof with shockwave. Only one that is eluding me at this time. I feel like I can't continue unless I get the stunts, I don't want to be screwed in the end :/

Edit: got it.

dark water missions are a good bet.

Wait till you get the Polarity Shield. Once you have it, all you need to do is find 3 people on a rooftop, and then use the polarity shield to protect yourself and herd the enemies together.

When do the El Train missions pop up? I've already beaten the game as both good and evil, but in my good playthrough I've got plenty of side missions left but no El Train missions. I don't remember when/how you spawn those from my evil playthrough. Is it just hanging around the stopped train platform? I just need Casey Jones and to max out the good powers to earn the Platinum...
