The developer, obviously...

Planet Moon has done some great work in the past (particularly Giants).

Because the game has a far cooler "hook" than any game released in recent memory?

I was excited when I first heard about it and the developer. The recent pics though and the god awful E3 trailer have killed my enthiusiam. Unless this does a 180 by launch I think I will pick up Socom PSP instead.

socom PSP just looks as bad

This is great! As long as games keep looking like this, I'll never have a reason to update my firmware =)

its planet moon, and my psp is starving. its as good as bought.

by the way, how does this play? i've read about the multiplayer virus shit, but what about the game itself? just 3rd person shooting? any in game video?

The still shots don't do it any kind of justice. It moves and controls like butter, far better than I ever expected a third-person shooter to on the PSP. It's not gonna sell anyone a system, but it's probably the coolest implementation of the online feature yet, and the PSP really doesn't have anything else like it currently.

Is this game like a light-gun game in that you switch to first-person to shoot or something (also like the Gun Survivor and Killer 7 games)?

I agree. The idea behind it looks promising but I don't think a game like this will last that long nor have much substance behind it.

Maybe if more than 40 people in N.A. played the PSP online... :lol

I just mean it by how the target is so large, the blood gushes, and the graphics. It also looked like a first person perspective but I think I see a character now...

Sorry but I found the E3 build ridiculously forgettable - not a spark of any real inspiration or originality to be found. Overall, E3 was a disaster for PSP and I came in with very high hopes for Infected.

This is the same team that made one of my favorite games within the last few years-Armed and Dangerous. I have faith in them,so does my PSP.
