Not in the base roster.
Anyway, I find it kinda funny how Sony's funding both the Capcom Pro Tour & the Injustice 2 Championship Series. They must have some deep pockets to fund both sides.

I knew that we were not getting him in the base roster. if we are only getting him as premium costume, it sucks, but oh well, it's better than nothing.
How do you get premium costumes? Are they random drops from loot boxes?

Random drops or purchased with microtransaction currency, yeah. Unclear if there's ways to earn that currency in-game yet.

I'd expect (and hope) that we do get currency while playing to buy stuff.
In any case the game looks great. I can't wait to play it.
I really hope there isn't a lot of console stuff locked behind it. I didn't find the last two that fun at all.

Ack! There's gonna be enough grinding in the console game. I don't wanna have to grind in both!
Only thing we know of is that you can unlock a premier skin for Cyborg.
Not a single word so far. A couple of people, including me, directly asked them about it on Twitter, but no answer.
I'm actually holding off a purchase for now for that reason. If there is no Pro support or something like disabling downsampling (like more and more developers unfortunately do) I'm not going to support the game. I made that decision for every game that doesn't support Pro in general.
Right now I'm hoping that some people get the game earlier, also on Pro, so that they can confirm if there is support/downsampling or not. If everything is fine, I might still be able to preorder the game before release day.

Right now, the only thing that's been announced is getting a Grid Premium Skin for Cyborg in the main game.
There will inevitably be more incentives as time passes.

There must be some kind of issue on DC's side, because Static is the only runner-up from Boon's Injustice 1 DLC poll who isn't included in Injustice 2. He came in second place, beating out Red Hood, Swamp Thing, and everyone else.

The only similarity between Starfire and Zendaya is the nose, which Zendaya doesn't have a patent on. It really bugs me when celebrities think that video game characters are modeled after them. You're one of millions with similar features and being famous doesn't make yours more prominent than anyone else with the same features/look

Ehh.. Zendaya knows what she's doing. She's not a newbie to the Twitter call out stuff and knows that this sort of thing leads to rabid fans bombarding social media. It was inappropriate. Especially since isn't Injustice 2 scanning real people's faces anyway? Because if so, it's a real persons face but definitely not hers.

WB are reprinting his show so they probably have the animation rights at least.
That could just be grandfathered though since the show was already made by DC.

you can also grind the game and get the Premium Skins, the Ultimate Edition just get you them when you 1st play the game w/o grinding or purchasing them
That's not what that message is saying though. It sounds like those are not unlockable, although other premium skins might be.

I don't think all of them are gonna be that way and most definitely not the ones included in the Ultimate Edition as the link I posted implies.
There are probably gonna be 2 types of Premium Skins.
Unlockable premium skins, which can be obtained by grinding through the game or by paying with Source Crystals (i.e real money).
Real money only premium skins which can only be obtained by purchasing a season pass/DLC pack, or by buying a la carte.
yeah i know but there's a video released maybe on Sat of Injustice 2 producers in Germany and they confirmed that a pre-order is NOT required to get the premium skins. They are in the game and can be obtained by playing. For people who don't like spending time grinding , they'll be available for purchase. But those w/ the Ultimate edition wont have to do either, they are included and will be available as soon as you start the game.
