Yeah it just doesn't work. I've tried plenty of times, every time that update fails and I have to go back to the previous firmware. You can see on the page that is supposed to be a "temporary" firmware which was only going to be up for like a day until the proper firmware was released, but it's still MIA.

If it helps sway you----ultimate edition stuff is unlockable in game for those premier skins, and season passes usually don't pan out well. You could pick and choose who you want from DLC packs.

There are the exclusive shaders, and Darkseid preorder bonus wouldn't be there from my local store as far as I know. But still...
Isn't darkseid a code inside the box for people who buy the first waves? I know I got the Prey pre order stuff and it was a code within the box and I did not pre order.

But are you sure there's no 4k support? Everyone who has it so far has been showing screens of it running on a 1080p screen. Should we ask the user above to take a screens hot?

From what I can tell, input lag on UHD HDR sets is entirely dependant on the TV.

Big chains usually never hand out games before release. That's why I never preorder there.
So, I have to say the game looks really nice on Pro (attached to an HDTV). While there is aliasing here and there in the backgrounds, it is imo fairly unnoticable if you don't really look for them. And that's coming from me, I'm a stickler what this is concerned. The IQ in general looks really good. It imo is the prettiest fighting game that we have seen so far this generation. Here are a couple of screens:
I have no clue though if the Pro version attached to an HDTV has any visual improvements over the OG PS4 version. :/

Nice I have Sammy 4K tv with HDR10. Looking forward to seeing it run on it.
I decided to pre-order digitally on my Ps4 pro, the discdrive is faulty so had to. Too impatient for the Scorpio patch, will double dip when the console is out play on PS till then.
What makes you think it's getting a scorpio patch though ? It doesn't even have a pro patch. Was this announced ?

Weird, I wonder if this varies depending on the region, because Amazon UK very specifically states that the code will be in the box.
Hellshingu was playing on a 1080p screen. I don't think we have any screens from someone playing on a UHD TV so this could still be another case of not supporting downsampling rather than not having Pro support at all.

Btw I'm definitely feeling a bit of input delay with hdr. Im going to finish story mode and hook up ps4 to my 1 ms monitor.

That's the hot topic right now. Trying to get someone to screenshot a 4k screen so we can compare to 1080p screen
This is the most frustrating thing about the Pro, you never find out anything until the game launches and someone does a pixel count. Even with first party games, it's like pulling teeth to get info a lot of times.
It's the total opposite of what everyone thought would happen with these iterative consoles.

Is that the HDR darkening the picture or it's just the way you set up the contrasts/brightness ?
I think it looks less aliased maybe ? Especially the building in the background.
Eyes and Face movement are extremely well done and really gives personality to the characters. Dialogue is very well written too.
Probably hdr, it looks much better on tv since backlight is set to max . Might need to try adjusting the hdr brightness setting ingame too.

He may have to move over to the right more in that shot as the building seems too far to the side. I can try messing with my TV settings when I get home although it is going to be hard to recreate images 1:1 for you to test due to differences in TV manufacturers and whatnot.
