Would Hal count as part of the Sinestro Corps? He should still be using a Yellow Ring in the story.
Yes, it was mentioned on the PS Blog which is where I made the connection
I'm guessing Grodd, Ivy, Cold, Scarecrow, Cheetah, Deadshor and maybe Bane are the Society.

And yeah, pretty sure that will end up being the Society.
I should probably catch up on the Injustice comic. I think I stopped just after Year 2 started. Is there any way to catch up easily?

This is likely. I'd love an Owlman alt for Bats. Though he's for sure getting ten times the alts and gear that any other character is getting.
I think that may be the animated series' version only--I may be wrong. I prefer the creepier Toyman from the series though.

It seems the story for this game will be much more complicated than the simple regime vs. insurgency plot of the first game.
Oh my god if we get a stage that's right outside the Legion of Doom I will be so happy.
Also, I'm starting to think that maybe Cheetah is one of those characters like in the MKX story mode (Tanya, Rain, etc) where you fight them in story mode but they aren't a part of the roster. And then they're in the mobile game as a clone because that's gonna have more characters anyway

If everyone gets 1 premier skin at minimum(probably not happening), who would you pick for the other characters? Bizarro for Superman or just the hero version from the first game?
NRS probably wanted to keep dead characters to a minimum, like how only Liu Kang and Kitana were brought back in MKX (with minimal story involvement). You can't ship a DC game without The Joker, and Green Arrow has his own TV show. Characters like Lex Luthor and Shazam are important, but they're a bit more expendable than Joker and Green Arrow. I'm sure they'll be back as DLC.
I could see him getting cut, especially if they have usage stats showing him as not being popular.
There are going to be tough cuts. If every must-have was in the game, the roster would be 50+.
I dunno. NR doesn't seem to like repeat DLC, and I could see a previous character being paid DLC not going over too well with the general audience.

Tim Drake could be for Robin, as Red Robin or just as regular Robin with a different voice and design.
Yeah, I can see representations of Dick, Jason and Tim as Robin. I'm quite looking forward to it actually.
Damian had a bo staff in the trailer and a knife in the screenshot so there's good chance you'll be able to swap weapons.

Not sure. In the first game's story, we don't see what happens with Hal. He willingly surrenders the yellow ring to MU Superman and gets brought back to the Guardians by MU Lantern. It's possible he'd be back to green with IJ2, since he along with Flash and Shazam sort of was starting to show remorse. (Note: I just played through the IJ1 main story over the weekend so I'm fresh on it)
That said, it would still feel really weird to have Atrocitus replace Sinestro as the Lantern villain entirely.

Ah guess i was remembering something wrong. I should play thru I1 again before 2 hits too.
On the topic of Green Lantern, he'll probably have colors to turn him into a member of all the other Corps. Probably no custom ending like for Yellow Lantern in the first game though.
