Injustice 2 Roster Discussion & Speculation Thread

The one thing I hope they would someday implement is character trials. I think it would broaden the audience even more if it taught beginners some legit combos, in game and with the standard increasing difficulty. It would help the DC fans who might not normally play fighting games but want to learn.
He's a brains and brawn character, so it's weird when they represent him as a hulking monster.

Most writers can't be assed to write a character with that much depth. Anarky is on the same boat.

Also i think there isnt a Tag Team mode and its just wishful thinking.
The trailer doesnt hint at it at all. It was just to show that you dont know who is whos side really.
A modified and actually useful faction system this time i can see.

I could certainly see him having the ability to steal the opponents moveset or steal one move per character. Like steal Batman's slide or Superman's ice breath, etc.
Like Shang Tsung or Shinnok's impostor variant in MKX.

I say we get a fair chunk. It'll most likely be:
Beta Roster 1:
Superman, Batman, Supergirl, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Blue Beetle.
or
Beta Roster 2:
The above roster plus Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and whoever is revealed during Tuesday's stream.

People are voting for the MK-style arcade stick layout over the 2 rows of 4 layout.

So as someone on TYM pointed out, the stream countdown used to say "character gameplay reveal" but it has now since been changed to simply "character reveal". So I guess we're getting to see a new character we haven't seen in game yet on Tuesday?

Most likely, yeah. But it doesn't say "character gameplay reveal" like it did before but they changed it to read "character reveal" so I'm hoping it's a new character not featured in the trailer.

Raven was my number one most requested character for the original Injustice game, back in the day. I campaigned for her to be included in the original roster pretty vigorously from Day One.
The day her character reveal trailer popped up on YouTube, I was so excited...
