I always use it to set up for my super move.

You know what's not ? Stage transitions.
Getting sick of it to be honest. I'm playing Canary right now and abusing this on everybody to feel better about falling for it so many times.
You can just use Cry, walk, b3, then you can hear your opponent internally cry.
It's even worse than Batman's grapple because this doesn't use meter.

Better off keeping the Canary Cry, in my opinion.
Way too telegraphed and too slow to explode. You'd assume you'd be able to trigger the explosion using a Meter Burn, but it doesn't seem like it, at least, I haven't been able to yet.

These gear moves sound really cool, but it makes me think that if you include these in tournaments, setting them up would be a disaster...especially if you need to unlock them.

As they talked about on Ultrachen last week, it could certainly work in tournaments if all abilities were unlocked from the start for all characters.
But if you need to unlock them and they're tied to the random loot drop element of the game then nah. Too much variability and randomness at play to consider it an option.

On a side note, I've noticed whenever I play anybody who's in a clan, that if I don't beat them in a first to 3 they leave lol. I mean the matches could go down to the last pixel on round 2, but if they win they take their high and mighty asses to the next opponent haha.

This. So much this. I loved the New 52 Red Lantern Supergirl arc. Hopefully with unique abilities. Actually I'd love every Premier skin to have a unique ability or two.
