Yeah, the voice doesn't really mesh with this rendition to me. I think something less exaggerated and more sinister fits better with his visuals. The exaggerated voice fits better with his classic, more exaggerated long face. I would have preferred that both Harley and Joker tone turn down their character's voices a notch.

As expected, the Gods shader will look good on everyone and the demon shader will only really look good on a few characters.

I would be legitimately surprised if you can't.
They might make that stuff only available for a limited time exclusively to Ultimate Edition owners, and then eventually make them available for all.
Though I don't see them doing that with the premium skins, only the shaders realistically. Premium Skins being exclusive to Ultimate Editions is way too much money on the table.

He's been doing the voice for them since MK vs. DC, so yeah, your theory probably is correct. But I appreciate when a company doesn't treat its employees as disposable, and Mark Hamill certainly isn't hurting for work, so I'm glad Epcar is back.
Anyway I'm sure the voice will fit when everyone puts him in his purple suit.
Not yet but remember there was a CW arrow skin in the first game! I think there was a folder for a CW Flash skin in the mobile game (2).
Higher res would be the most they could do considering how delicate frame timing is in fighters. Not sure why they wouldn't.

Batman. Have to try the new characters as I didn't like most of the cast in IJ1.
I'm worried they leave it as it is in or if they have a high res mode they don't let you downsample. All happened before. :/

I was going to say, they had Stephen Amell come in and do that for I1. I can easily see Grant Gustin doing it for the Flash as well. Now for major DCEU actors? fuck no lol.
Green Arrow, Black Canary, Firestorm, Supergirl, and Flash each with unique reactions against everyone? We'll see.
I'm thinking they might get Gal Gadot and Momoa cause they're not huge megastars.
Batman has a mask and Superman was already given a face that's 90% Henry Cavill so they don't need them.
Maybe if you're nearsighted and squint. Let's edge that back to a 60%.

They're not identical since they had keep another actor's proportions for the motion cap, but the facial structure and hairline are not fooling anybody

He used to look like that though.
Different nose, brow, eyes, jaw and vegeta's hairline were given to him. They all coincidentally match Cavill's.

Am I the only one that (while I realize it's stupid to harp on) is immediately taken out of the game when I see Joker fucking up a character like Superman? Like...I know it's a fighting game and all and I don't expect them to NOT balance characters for the sake of the game not being shit, it's just...not something my brain can easily "switch off" enough for it to not be totally jarring.

Well I caved and preordered the Ultimate Edition.
I'll probably suck at the game but it just looks too damn good.

They did a great job with his animations.
There won't be unique reactions against everyone, but the Amell skin had enough reactions to make sense of most of them. They can get them in there for an hour. The CW folk already lend their voices to the animated Vixen too.
Also they'll just look cool and familiar.
Well if it makes you feel any better, in the comics they use "pills" that boosts their abilities.
You can also tell yourself Superman is fighting near Kryptonite.
Didn't Amell just record preexisting dialogue in his own voice for the Arrow skin in I1? That makes it a whole lot easier.
Oh and I almost forgot, I shall also main Grodd hahaha. That restand is going to fuck people up big time.
I'm not sure if it was pre existing, but it was generic.
I don't expect big custom CW based discussions between the characters lol.

We don't know how many there are or who gets them yet, beyond the three included in the Ultimate Edition, Cyborg's Grid, and Captain Cold's Mr Freeze.
You can unlock them in-game, but it's not clear if they're tied to achievements or the drop system or what. Grid is unlocked on consoles via the mobile game. Freeze is unknown. The ultimate edition ones are unlikely to be unlockable in-game.

I thought during one of the watchtower streams they said premier skins are in drops like everything else.

Yeah, except since then the only skins we've actually seen were Mr Freeze (probably a drop?), Grid (not a drop) and the three from the ultimate edition (not a drop).
There's a lot they're not telling us yet, including if there's a LOT of these skins, or if we end up with like, one or two as loot and the rest of them locked behind other methods.

Living towers stopped working properly after the first year. It just cycling through the holidays, the old MK's and Scorpion's toweres.NRS never fixed it. Its going to suck if they're locking gear behind them and the same thing happens in IJ2.
Man, I think I'll end up picking it up, just to be on the safe side.
Also, the Joker's look reminds me of Trowa.
