Injustice 2 Roster Discussion & Speculation Thread

The ai battle simulator mode looks a bit interesting tough maybe a bit too dense with a lot of stuff to set up. Think it would work better if the ai just analyzed how you played.
It seems a bit complicated as it is now, takes quite a bit of effort compared to sending a tower challenge in MK X.

I'm a big fan of the idea of playing other people's AIs, as it works as a good way to transition to being more comfortable online. Like how KI does it with Shadows.

It's too bad it doesn't do a player-behavior-based AI like KI attempts to do, but I still like this sort of idea regardless, and I'm glad devs are starting to put these in.

I absolutely loved that mode in KI. Really glad to see something like this here, holy shit.

Are we sure we can actually play in this mode and not just watch the ai fight?
It was a bit unclear from the stream.

Maybe I misunderstood, but don't you get to play other people's AI teams?

I'm multitasking, so maybe I missed an important part of that :(
 
If Raiden if really going to be DLC, I'll finally learn my listen about pre-ordering and season passes. One MK character is expected, 2 is bullshit. Especially when we could have amazing guests like Spawn, Space Ghost, and Freakazoid

What they showed in the stream was your ai fighting another team of ai's, if I understood things correctly.

I still want Conan's Flaming C character. The fact that he was playable in Injustice 1 at one point sucks.

lol no worries, I came back into the stream towards the end of that segment so I came to the same conclusion you did. :p

I'm still real hyped for multiverse stuff.
 
I wonder which modes are actually not online dependent in this game.
Would be a shame if all we're left with when the servers are down are story and arcade.
Has there been any word on if any form of multiverse is playable offline?

I doubt it. Given the Earths have a timer and change at different rates, from an hour to a week, it's likely online dependent.

There's a simple player Versus CPU mode though, right? A mode where I can freely pick characters, CPU difficulty and stage that I want to fight in.

MKX had offline towers so its a possibility.

Oh and you can fight the AI you make in local also.
 
Would be funny if "Raiden" is actually another character like for example Constantine and they gave him for shits and giggles that hat as gear to fuck with everyone.

I've been pushing hard for Batwoman and I don't believe that's her. I'll gladly be proven wrong, but ears and hair aside, I don't see it.

Not really funny considering it's an ad for the DLC season pass/Ultimate edition, and both him and Manta have such a clear and distinctive outline for their characters. That would be incredibly misleading. Maybe not as much for the others, but definitely for those two being so distinctive and forefront.

They did it with Baraka and Alien before also people bought the Ultimate before even knowing 1 character.

Its vague silhouettes. They can do with it what they want until they show the character. Dont care if its misleading.
 
Just pre-ordered the regular edition. From this DLC pack I'm only interested in Red Hood so I'll buy him later down the road. And I got a question about that
and I'm pretty sure the answer will leave me in almost manly tears
: all the DLC content will be available only to the account/User that bought them, right?

Same here. And if there had to be 2 MK characters, I would prefer many others to Raiden.

DLC for NRS is not "single-account" locked. I have imported US copies of their previous games and been able to use US purchased DLC characters on my Australian account.

IIRC, the original teaser pic didn't have nearly the clear super-obvious iconic outline like these two did, but the Baraka fake out was in the actual video reveal trailer that showed Alien by the end.

I totally disagree that Black Manta and Raiden are vague in this case.
 
So if Starfire is around does that mean the rest of the Titans are back in play?
No longer in the phantom zone, wonder if superboy made it.

I thought I better asked, because after Street Fighter V I'm a bit paranoid about fighters omitting most basic modes.
Versus CPU is where I spend most of the time in any fighter.

DLC isn't necessarily canon, so it's up in the air. I'm sure it'll be acknowledged via intros with characters like Superman though

He really seems to like to tweet about things they probably already decided on. At least one of those silhouettes has to be a placeholder for one of the non-MK guests he polled about. Maybe that far left one since it's so generic.
