To be fair,
Vixen and Cheetah practically fight the same way, and most of Vixen's animal powers just augment her attributes in ways already reflected by Cheetah (strength of X animal, speed of Y animal). It would be cool if various animal auras surrounded her when using special moves, but it's not necessary.

True, on paper their fighting styles are similar. To be honest though, I am thrilled she made the cut. Whatever disappointment I mentioned is not going to last.
I can see Henry Cavill do it since he is a gamer, Ben im not so sure about.

That's like saying Green Lanterns and Sinestro fight the same way, or Cheetah and Catwoman fight the same way. Vixen's fighting style changes based on the animal she is using. She can fight like Cheetah, or she can be a grappler. She could have a poison effect or she could fly. They could've done many things with the character that would've been different from Cheetah and others. They could've given her a stance based trait that would change her move set based on the animal the stance is based on.
I believe the character individually/bundled price will be equal to the MKX pricing.
Recommend looking at the MKX character price on your psn store.
I don't think we need another claw lady character regardless of how they could mix it up. Also I'm pretty sure Beast Boy will take the "animal powers" spot.

That's where my disappointment stems from. Her powers have so much in game potential.

None of the premier skins are perfect fits, but they all work well enough. I could come up with original move sets for Mr. Freeze, Reverse-Flash, and John Stewart in a couple of minutes. The important thing is that Cheetah doesn't have a single animation that looks out of place on Vixen. That's not the case with a lot of the premier skin suggestions I've seen thrown around, like Swamp Thing as Clayface.

Me too. I'd rather Premier Skins continue to superficially expand the roster with unique characters, not alternate versions of the same characters. Gear can make those alternate versions possible.
I thought some of the characters from this game and the first game were dead at some point too?

That's the thing though, she didn't need to be another claw lady. It's like with Firestorm, he isn't just a fire dude, that's just a shallow understanding of his actual power set. It's a drop in the bucket to what he can actually do. Vixen is the same, claws are the least of what she can do.

I'm really shocked no word on legacy stick support, and at this point I doubt it will. This is extremely odd in this day and age where EVERY game has it. Low tier KOF14, anime Guilty Gear, high profile street fighter, and even a game not out yet for a month with Tekken 7.

Yes she has more abilities than that but her primary method of fighting in basically every book is jumping at someone and slashing them. Occasionally doing a rhino dash or some bird shit. Here.

I'd tip my hat if they got Beast Boy as dlc. As far as I can tell its litrally impossible for his powerset to be playable

If they can make Scarecrow of all characters into one of the more interesting fighters, I don't see why they couldn't do the same for Vixen.
It's not that they can't, it's that she isn't a priority. It's either the premier skin or nothing for her.
But That's not the character's fault but the writer's. She is capable of so much more.
it's lazy writing. Kind of like reducing Firestorm into Cinder from KI.

Not really. It's animating his morphs that would probably end up not being worth the effort, but I don't see how moveset being that complicated. The heaviest attacks would have him turning into a gorilla. A charging attack where he turns into a rhino. An anti-air where he does a giraffe neck smack. A double jump where he turns into some kind of bird. A special move where he turns into a dinosaur. Throw in some kangaroo kicks and snake grabs and you have Beast Boy.
It'd be a lot of work though.

Someone on Reddit called out the YouTubers who simply just repost content they didn't create (like announcement trailers), or make click bait videos and things got a little heated. JaeRoar started going off on people who were making legitimate claims and instead of trying to come up with anything that resembled a coherent response, he resorted to turning into a rebellious teenage brat and called anyone who questioned his intentions a "hater" lol.

Vixen looks great. Mr. Freeze on the other hand...
I mean, sure they could go above and beyond for her(give her a bird fly or a ram charge or a gorilla smack!) but the fact of the matter is the character isn't popular enough to warrant it and this alone is kind of surprising. That and honestly people would be pissed about there being 3 feral scratch ladies on the roster. Gaf isn't an accurate representation of the audience for this game.
I'm staying off YouTube due to crap like this, but wouldn't mind knowing who some of them are so I can be sure to avoid giving them views in the future.

Green Arrow in the game is from a different earth, its the one Dr Fate sent Black Canary to, so she have her baby. There was a nice thing in one of the Injustice annuals with Dinah, Ollie and Hal going to a bar together like old times.

Honestly, tons of strings in NRS games have random shit that isn't part of the model included, so I don't think it would be so far from the realm of possibility.

They made it a point to include more obscure characters into the roster, so her being included wouldn't have been a surprise. If popularity mattered in this game, then I imagine quite a few characters wouldn't even be here. No one was knocking down doors for Grodd, Scarecrow, or Cheetah, yet here we are.
At this point, it is what it is. Unfortunately, debating about it isn't going to change the fact that she isn't a full character.
