I held off on playing the game for the longest for Xbox One. When I finally did, I had a great experience. The highlights being the gameplay, enemies and weapons. I'd definitely get the sequel whether it be on Xbox or PS.

I loved S-OD. It was a lot fun and played great. I think it was my first "next gen moment" of this gen.

That being said, a new IP from Insomniac would be more exciting at this point. Great studio, they now have Sony funding....I'd be interested in what they'd bring.

If the X1 BC is gonna be like the 360/OG Xbox BC they can't do shit without the publishers permission (Sony), its literally a download of an updated version of the game. Now if its an emulator that can play the game natively then Sony can't do shit.

Maybe it would be fairplay, if Sony would allow Insomniac to develop the game for both PS5 and XSX with cross multiplayer, since Microsoft funded initially the game.

The publisher of the Xbox One version of Sunset Overdrive is Microsoft.
Owning the IP and publishing rights are two different things.
