Integrating content from Google Desktop Search back into Outlook?

As per this thread earlier today, Outlook crashed during a cleanup session, and with it, wiped six months of E-Mails. http://www.ga-forum.com/showthread.php?t=58166

The E-Mails, however, are still saved, at least for the most part, via Google Desktop Search.

So, I need to know if there's a way to move all the Inbox archives from Google, from 2/05 thru 8/05, back into Outlook's mail folder.

Also, do I keep Google Desktop Search running in the background until I potentially get this solved? Or close it? My worry is that now that the E-Mails are gone from the Outlook database file, Google Desktop Search might update itself as well, and remove them from its cache.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

Hrm. No idea on re-integrating them.

Have you checked for the Outlook .pst file? It's usually in \Documents and Settings\your account name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\<something>.pst . You can load it by opening File > Open > Outlook Data File in Outlook.

The other solution is to ditch Outlook altogether.

I guess I should've been more specific, I was using Outlook Express. As such, I have no .pst file, nor do I even know what that file does.

My E-Mail is stored in, "M:\Outlook E-Mail"

Then I really have no idea. I don't use Outlook Express, and my personal policy is to not support it.

Thus, I am honor-bound to suggest Thunderbird, coupled with an IMAP account with unlimited storage, located on a server with a good backup policy.
