This is for all of us (am I alone) out there getting X360s having never owned an original Xbox. Some of you guys know that I'm a bit of a collector freak when it comes to games. I honestly don't feel like I missed too much by skipping out on MS' initial splash into the gaming world. However, now that I WILL have an X360, I'd like to review the Xbox's library of (for the most part) original and exclusive games for consideration to purchase.
Let's lay down some ground rules for consideration, eh?
1.) Assume 100% backwards compatability, for now. I know that'll likely never be true, but there's no point trying to guess what will be patched to work on the X360 and what won't.
2.) Let's leave off MULTIPLATFORM games entirely. I have a GameCube. I have a PS2. I have a kick ass PC capable of running everything current, and I have significant libraries for all three systems. So, unless there were some major tweaks, fixes, or bonus content, let's assume that I either have the game for one of the other three platforms I've listed, or I dropped the game from consideration entirely.
3.) Halo. Halo 2. Ninja Gaiden (Hurricane Pack, Black, or otherwise). Don't like. Don't care. Won't buy.
So. What should I get, then?
