Introducing the PlayStation Link PC Driver for Windows for Pulse Elite and Explore.

Latest firmware (came with the PS5 beta fw) made the Pulse Elite reconnect automatically in 2~4 seconds which while not ideal, is way better than having to unplug and reinsert the dongle. I hope new hardware have this actually fixed.

"Take full control of your audio experience" Christ in times gone you'd just plug the damn thing in and use it. I guess they need to collect some more user data to sell
Don't get me wrong it's nice that we can customize stuff like EQs to fit out personal taste, but I really miss when you just bought something and plugged it in and it just worked the only way it could.

I wonder if PS Link will be the standard for PS6 but Bluetooth will probably catch up by then.
I'm still confused as to how to they didn't put Link inside of the Slim and Pro console or at minimum the Pro.

PC is surely becoming a top priority for PlayStation.

What a shame.
It's drivers dude lol

I wonder why they released a wireless dongle for the controller. They did for ps4.

The DS4 had some custom Bluetooth sorta thing that made the official dongle way lower latency than using a 3rd party BT dongle, also they wanted to lock down the use of the vibration and other extra features only through that official dongle (vibration only worked wired, unless you used DS4Windows drivers or the like).

Whereas with DS the latency is ultra low even with a bog standard BT dongle, hilariously some of the features of it do not work on PC without DS4Windows or similar still.

Steam Input does not fix these issues or add the features either, I find that causes more problems than it fixes and just continue to keep it disabled and use the (rapidly becoming outdated) DS4Windows still.

I dont know if he ever got the headphone jack working over BT but outside that the breadth of customisation for the DS4 and DS is staggering through that program. Not just Deadzone adjustment but Negative-Deadzone adjustment to fix weird problems like the seemingly crazily sluggish right stick controls in Dead Space 1 on PC.
