Kind of. Dota has DOTABUFF. However, it's opt in. You need to tick a box that allows 3rd parties to collect data from your account using the Steam API. So, no one's on there who doesn't want to be on there. There is currently no way to make your MMR public whatsoever. You can see someone's match history and filter by Ranked games, but you still won't be able to see their MMR, which is completely private. The only exception is the Leaderboard, which is also opt in.

from what ive read, dota ppl (at least gaffers) believe mmr is pretty frivolous in the larger picture, i dunno if I agree with that completely, but there's a good amount of league players that hype up differences in rank beyond logic
also for some reason if you mute someone you remove them from your friends list

it reminds me of dota 1, where a lot of bots would host matches. if you played games made by them, they would track your stats and give your "elo". they would show it in game lobby and it'd be tough to even get a game started

I think showing Tower Ranges is very silly. It even lights up when you get aggro.

I think it's good that it's in the bot matches. It allows new players to get a sense for tower range before they go into normals where it's gone.

Honestly with how difficult it can be to start in this genre a small thing like tower range is one less thing new players will have to be confused about when they start.

I thought Yasuo looked really awesome.

Can't find it within myself to install the game again though. The slower pace of the game just turns me off (plus I'd never be able to buy him anytime soon anyway).

Yeah Yasuo is a very high skillcap champion. One of the hardest in the game to play effectively i'd say.

There's more to the timing on her, and her damage is spread more evenly across her kit so you can't really just get away with trying to spam everything.

Watching the DK games from Starladder also reminded me of one balancing quirk in Dota that I can't imagine any other MOBA deliberately doing:

Both sides of the map are deliberately skewed to give different advantages to either team.

Radiant has the easier offlane and the better Jungle. Dire has better access to Roshan. That plus all sorts of tiny quirks like the different Ancient spots and ramp locations.

Evident in that DK banned out Lycan when the enemy was on Dire side but didn't give a shit about Lycan whenever the enemy was Radiant.
