As a long time Apple fan I'm not surprised but disappointed that Apple are going to attempt to do the bare minimum to comply to the letter of the law. I hope the EU gives them a good kicking.

EU should just sue until there's the option for a sideloading toggle like on Android which is completely outside the control of Apple.

Once you read the detail this is a whole lot of nothing that will only benefit the big corporations and ultimately who cares what share they get.

It was obvious that Apple would do the absolute minimum - EU should just be grateful lol.
