I just got a $25 iTunes card and I'm planning on buying a game (or a few) for my iPad Mini 2 before my trip to Europe next week.
I've been eyeing Final Fantasy 9 for a while, but it is a bit expensive, so I wouldn't be able to get much else with my card. Without any spoilers, is the story as big as FF7 in terms of characters having stories, and the main plot being a big satisfying adventure? I'm not a big fan of the really simple RPG stories like or ones that just aren't satisfying, especially needing to put so many hours to beat them.
The Room 3 is also one my wishlist, but I still have the 2nd one to play through first.
Titan Quest seems like it would be perfect (a big, Diablo style action RPG) but I've held off on it so far because the reviews I've read say the performance is a bit sluggish (which I could probably deal with if it's not TOO bad), it crashes (which I could also deal with if it saves often), and it has some bugs from the original game (more worrying, since I'd hate to hit a game halting bug).
Does the game play OK on 5-6in screen sizes? It might actually run better on my S7 Edge, apparently with Game Tuner it can run fairly smoothly, but if it's hard to play on a phone it might not be worth it.
Jade Empire seems like it'd be cool to have (only played it once back in the day), but I think I'll wait for some reviews about how it plays. Those screen shots of all those on screen buttons looked like it might be rough.
There's a bunch more on my wishlist (Dragon Quest 3+4-6, Crashlands, Love You To Bits, a few others) but some of those I'm waiting on sales or I'm feeling the itch to get them right now.
