Why is the App Store (and Google Play as well) so freaking bad at showing what games are on sale? I shouldn't have to check Touch Arcade to see what's on sale at any given point

This is so true. They need "On Sale" category or something.
The first game, right? You ain't seen nothing yet. The first game is more traditional gamebook. The games get exponentially more advanced with each one, and your choices/gear/status carry over between gamesDownloaded Sorcery! and holy shit I'm hooked, I went to sleep at 3am playing it xD. The writing is phenomenal, the choices you make even the combat is great.
I'm really considering buying 1949 for my iPad, because it seems super addicting on the PC. But I'm not sure how much content it has?
You have a full campaign, a sandbox mode and an expansion to play with if you want to. One of the best premium management game on iOS for me.
Didnt know about this. Will take a look since I remember playing it on arcades back in the 80s/90s
Think you may be thinking of the shump.
Seeing as 1849 doesn't work. How do I get a refund?
It isnt? My bad then.
Well, I also think they meant to say 1849 -- not 1949 -- so I can see where you got that.

Having your game on your wish list should send you a notification of it having it's price adjusted. It's not the best solution in terms of retail space but at least it should be a standard integration of the AppStore without having to rely on external apps.
King of Dragon Pass is 50% off.
I bought 1849 Gold Edition. I enjoyed the three first levels of the Steam version, so why not.
[edit] ehh, so 1849 doesn't work on iPad Pro 9.7. It's just stuck on a blank white screen.
Oh they are aware of it now? Because then I rather just keep it and wait for an update to make it work again.Dang, never had a problem with it before and it is indeed crashing since the latest iOS Update.
I've told the devs, they'll look into it. Seems lile they weren't aware of this.
Would it be justifiable to have a iPad Air 2 for gaming seeing I have an iPhone 7 Plus already? It seems some games are exclusive for the tablet such as Rome: Total War, FTL etc .. and some games simply work better on the larger screen (i.e. the just released rollercoaster tycoon)
For some reason, I am starting to enjoy Downwell now... maybe I didnt know how to play it or didnt play it the right way before xD
Has anyone played the Telltale Batman on an i7+? I looked up gameplay footage and it seemed blurry and stuttery af. I guess I could always try it and then just refund it. Hmm.
🤡It stutters on an iPad Pro 9.7. So it probably does on your phone too. Especially having their engine in mind.
Yup, Gonner is fantastic. It's Downell's weird sidescrolling cousinFunny you mention Downwell, a game called GoNNER came out for Shield TV yesterday (been on PC for a few months). and it's somewhat similar and absolutely amazing. I actually like it more.
Hope it comes to iOS at some point.
Alto's adventure or bug butcher?

Got back to Altos Advenure after probably a year away and finally managed two triple backflips in the same run and beat level 20. That damn goal had soured me on the game so hard but now I'm enjoying it again.

Same here, never played Bully before but I'm loving it. The mini games for classes lends themselves perfect for mobile and the smaller scale of the game makes it great for playing in bursts. The controls are also top notch for a 3D game with an open world.First time playing Bully, and it was terrific!
Played in bed for an hour last night and got sucked right in. This is perfect for iOS and hope to eventually see games like LA Noire make it to phones when the tech gets there.
I've made it work! Here's what I did: I freed up some space (I have 800mb free) and I killed all the app and restarted the iPad. The game is now working fine on iPad!
It'll likely release in JanuaryI can't wait for Binding of Isaac. I hope they still plan releasing this year. I wonder what the cost will be?
I've never played a RollerCoaster Tycoon game, any of them at all. Should I look into getting it? Also, does anyone have Baldur's Gate II on a plus iPhone? Are the controls playable on the small screen?

Yep, looking like it. Wish they would just come out and say that thought instead of being silent about the iOS version. It'll likely release in January
You are building train lines to move the customers to the correct stations. The " customers" are the little shapes that appear next to each station. The trains pick them up and move them to the corresponding station, or to a station they can connect from. So it's about moving people as efficiently as possible to their desired destination. The tunnels and special shaped customers and stations complicate matters.Bought Mini Metro for 99 cents but I don't really understand the game. What exactly do I have to do, on what do I need to pay attention? Looks great and is quite relaxing but yeah, feeling a bit lost there.
Are you familiar with SpaceChem? I found Mini Metro easier to understand when I started thinking of it more abstract terms.Bought Mini Metro for 99 cents but I don't really understand the game. It's an excellent game, you should definitely get it. The gameplay on its own is great, with a fulfilling sense of progression.I'm contemplating buying Crashland since TouchArcade awarded it GOTY 2016, although it seems like it was based more on the backstory than the game itself.
