Haven't played it on iOS yet, but it's my favorite Rockstar game from the PS2 era. Even better than San Andreas (and that was my first GTA game and left quite an impression).

The smaller scale of the world gives it a charming intimacy and liveliness that you can't get from the sprawling cityscapes. The days progress, the seasons change. The missions are surprisingly inventive and characters well-written. It just might be the most unique game Rockstar has made in the last decade, given its setting, characters, and overall tone.

Man I hope so. I play a lot of mobile games, but am rarely this excited for a particular release. It would be great to get it before break, can sink more time into it.

So did anyone try Super Mario Run?
I was about to go but I've read mixed reports on weather the demo is USA only or worldwide, so I stayed at home painting Silver Tower.

But I'm damn curious...so far everyone who tried the demo actually liked it a lot, so I'm hopeful.

Seems like it's done and ready to go so why not just release the damn thing already. Doubt anyone will complain about it being early!

Yoot Tower (aka SimTower/The Tower) is on sale for the first time, I think, since it launched on iOS in 2010. Dropped from 7.99 to 3.99.

UI is a little rough, but it is a really cool game. Screenshots and app store description are in Japanese, but the game is in English.

The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, of Steam fame and one of my most wanted games on iOS, will run on iPhones too, not just iPad..
Early 2017.

Can't wait.

Having a strange issue with Bully. On my iPad Mini 2 I have the "Shadows" option in the display menu, but it doesn't change anything (no shadows on that device). On my iPhone 6 I don't have the option at all, it's not in the menu. No shadows on iPhone 6 either. :(

I really liked it! I can't wait to play the hell out of it Thursday. It looks gorgeous.

The only problem I have with Bully is that if you're even only one generation behind, you miss out on some effects. For example, I'm playing it on an iPad Air 2, and the game doesn't have shadows.

Anybody played Romancing Saga 2? It looks right up my alley but most important is , how are the controls?

Some say it's among the worst Square have done and others say it's all right?

Never played it but Shaun Musgrave over at TA gave it a 4.5/5 and he's really the only reviewer over there I trust.

Its supposed to be great. wait though. SE xmas deals are usually good although most times only FF stuff is discounted. Hoping DQ 8 is discounted ahead of the 3DS one im buying anyway.

Asphalt Extreme was completely ruined by the update and it crashes 100% of the time. Big bummer.

It's an odd game that centers around building your empire throughout numerous generations and has the standard Kawazu level up shenanigans involving specific weapon type experience and stat being used and to top it off, enemies scale with you at an exponential rate.

It's a game for someone that knows what they are getting into, but the touch controls are superb.

I would like some advice on games that actually work with an mfi controller, if snyone has a suggestion it would be highly appreciated.

The latest version fixed some and the next iOS build (due out very shortly) should fix the remaining ones but I agree, it's quite maddening how it was handled.

Anyway for MFi controllers and reviews just check afterpad.com

I got DQ8 on Android (which is the same as the iOS version I think) for free a few months ago, but the fixed sub-30 framerate put me off enough to skip playing that version.

Did anyone try Runaway Toad?

I was interested long ago but other things got in the middle....and I just noticed it went on sale....but I don't recall anyone talking about it.

It looks like it will win since it is first on most list and even second and third on other peoples lists...

Even the worst game on anyone list will be better than PGO gameplay-wise... but... marketing does it these days

My hype for Mario on iOS was lukewarm at best. After seeing the live action trailer and seeing that you can EARN the ability to play as
