You are an odd breed.I am so in on this. And I love microtransactions so I'm super fine with it.
[edit] Wait a moment, I rather play Final Fantasy: Brave Excivius come to think of it. Final Fantasy is my thing.
Even without the F2P aspect, what the hell is with the tiny maps? Does Nintendo not realize there's been plenty of robust SRPGs on mobile with large maps and then touch interface actually can be an asset?
Honestly sounds like trash to me.
Well, you have one of the best SRPGs of all time, Final Fantasy Tactics on the platform. That's my #1 recommendation to folks looking for a SRPG. Tactics Maiden would probably be high on the list, too. What are some good SRPGs on mobile? I'm a fan of the genre but haven't paid much attention to mobile games in recent years, though I'm playing more now that I have a new phone. Fire Emblem just doesn't look great.

Is Horn any good?
Binding of Isaac is really not clicking with me. It's difficulty makes any progress negligible.
Edit: I'm going to keep playing for a little bit to see if it clicks, but right now I can't reliably get past the first boss.
that does look good!
I played the original browser version a while back, it's pretty funSuper Gridland looks interesting if it's a mixup of a match-3 and resource management.
Here's a breakdown and strategy guide for the original Gridland. The new one might have more elementsWow at Super Gridland, a premium match-3 Im in!!!
Edit: bought both since I need new games and most of what left are endless runner that are stapples on my iPhone.
Super Gridland is a match-3 that has you matching to build at day and fight at night. You start on day 1 and try to survive as long as you can. If you die, back to square one.
Interesting! Any hints?I played the original browser version a while back, it's pretty fun

Oh, and...things come out at night
Cobra makes some really great premium mobile games and this seems like an absolute blast. It's an open-world puzzler/slider in which you unlock new skills, items and you can backtrack etc.
This shouldn't be missed by anyone who likes premium games built with mobile in mind.
The game is divided between day and night. Day is town builder, resource managementInteresting! Any hints?
I just tried Sky Dancer, yeah it's another endless runner but this one is sooo beautiful. I was like O.O
I like it, it's fun.

Night is fighting off encroaching creatures
1. Sorcery 4 ; The epic complex sprawling conclusion to Inkle's fantasy saga is everything I hoped for, and somehome continued to expand on the already grand scope of 2 and 3
2. Imbroglio ; Michael Brough's newest game is a simple-on-the-surface, yet surprisingly-deep hybrid of card game, board game, and roguelike
3. Samorost 3 ; Gorgeous, charming, and playful, this just might be Amanita Design's best work
4. RYB ; I've seen RYB described as "Hexcells meets The Witness", and that's an apt description for this vibrant logical puzzler that teaches through experimentation and puzzle design
5. Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven ; A huge work of interactive fiction to rival even Inkle's work, with an extensive RPG component including stats to manage, items and gear to use, and myriad paths to take.
6. Bullet Hell Monday ; A frenetic kaleidoscopic adrenaline rush of shmup, with perfectly bite-sized stages and a plethora of game-changing unlocks and secrets to unlock
7. Snakebird ; Don't be fooled by Snakebird's colorful cute facade. It's one of the most challenging and rewarding puzzle games on mobile (or anywhere for that matter)
8. Reigns ; Reigns' clever card-based design presents an ever-expanding game of kingdom management in a very mobile-friendly package
9. Demon's Rise 2 ; A massive and challenging strategy RPG with large-scale ruthless battles and a dark fantasy twist with unique classes
10. Love You To Bits ; This sci-fi successor to Tiny Thief is just as charming and even more inventive
Honorable Mentions
x. Fallen London
x. Leap of Fate
x. Teeny Titans
x. Circa Infinity
x. Yankai's Triangle
x. Mini Metro
Which should I get,Nvidia Shield or Apple TV for mobile games on TV?
Shield has more power, Emulation and android ports of The Witness, Borderlands Etc. Is more expensive $200
Apple Tvs seems to have a better mobile library overall. Cheaper, $150.
They'll be my secondary console besides probably the Switch or PS4
Super Gridland isnt for me... I prefer more "relaxed" match-3 like Dungeon Raid, Darkin,....
Now, for real, to Red's Kingdom...
Speaking of relaxing match-3s, I need recommendations! I love Dungeon Raid, have already played Puzzle Quest, and like things like Bejeweled and whatnot, but I don't like games like Candy Crush where you are given a very limited number of moves to remove an impossible amount of tiles. Any help in this regard would be great! Just need something super chill to play when it's late at night and my fiancée is asleep (he always falls asleep before me, I'm a massive night owl).
Have you played You Need to Build a Boat / 10000000 ? Granted it's not "super chill" but it's quite good.
You also have Hero Emblems, Puzzle Quest 2, Monster Ate My Condo, Super Glyph Quest, Triple Town, PuzzleCraft...
Swap Sword is a pretty good match-3 too.Played all of those. While I like YMBAB and its ilk, it's just too frantic to play in bed with a sleeping partner next to me.
Haven't tried Super Glyph Quest, though. I really liked the first one, so maybe I'll give that a shot.

Iron Hide Games announced a new Kingdom Rush came. And the futuristic RTS is in beta. https://twitter.com/ironhidegames
Awesome! I've had Iron Brigade on my radar forever and I'll devour any new Kingdom Rush game they put out--it's my iOS tower defense GOAT.

Actually I think Ironhide's Futuristic RTS is called Iron MARINES, not Iron Brigade (the name of the Double Fine Mech Tower Defense game).Awesome! I've had Iron Brigade on my radar forever and I'll devour any new Kingdom Rush game they put out--it's my iOS tower defense GOAT.
