Actually, I'm surprised that I haven't had to look up any solutions or anything so far. Thing I like about this game is that like a halfway through a level, you suddenly realize what you have to do, and then becomes like a game of chess, puzzling out the right moves and such to make everything fall into place
 
Been playing Death Road To Canada on PC, you guys are going to love it. It has all that Rocketcat charm and polish you love, with a wacky take on the apocalypse. But yet it can be really tense. The zombies are no joke here. They will always win. The only thing you can do is be fast, try not to get cornered, and don't run out of ammo

Just tried Hitman Sniper on my iPad Mini 2, and was surprised at how bad it was running.

It was playable, but the framerate just wasn't great at all. Probably the first game I've tired that really had noticeable performance issues on the Mini 2 which actually pretty impressive. Granted I don't usually play a lot of 3D or graphic intensive games, but I'm still VERY happy with nearly every game I throw on my Mini 2.

Hmmm. Hitman Sniper runs just fine on my Mini 2, absolutely no issues.
 
Wonder what's happening with space marshals 2, they've gone dark ever since the delay.

Anyways, I'm currently enjoying Guild of Dungeoneering, going the later dungeons is quite hectic and difficult. The bruiser is easily the best starting class in the game, blocking attacks to fire back damage has saved me a number of times. The luck factor involved with combat is slightly annoying but it is supposed to be the challenging aspect of the game.
 
Wow, only took 3 years of casual playing, but I finally beat Plants Vs. Zombies 2.
Had to use guides/videos for a few levels (the Beach world especially was stupidly difficult).

I definitely had a love/hate relationship with this game, but after enough updates, it's pretty damn good overall. The difficulty is pretty insane for certain levels and world's and basically call for perfection unless you use power ups (which the game provides without paying thankfully).

It looks like there might be one more expansion (there's a "crack" next to the final world that you can scroll to, but it doesn't do anything yet).

Good job! I played it when it first came out and it was heavily balanced in favor of IAPs. I deleted it and didn't really look back. I may download it again -- I love PvZ 1 -- but any free game with IAPs make me suspicious.

Yep, that mode is amazing. The whole game is amazing. I never could scratch the itch to play that mode in Coop. Shame, must be glorious.

There is a new Silverfish coming out, Silverfish DX, this time with boss fights, 8-way directions instead of 4, more enemies,... hoping a lot for it.
 
Is anyone playing any current F2P type games that they are enjoying and can recommend? I'm thinking the 7 Knights, Dragon Blaze types. I know they get frowned upon, but I just kind of like that MMO daily type game that I spend a few minutes on here and there regardless of the IAP pay to win.

Even better, any of the above types that have come out that aren't actually pay to win?

The difficulty is definitely on the high end, especially compared to PvZ 1, but it is totally possible to play without spending a cent.

You even earn enough money in-game to use the powers when you need them. I finished the game with 70,000+ money (powers cost about 1000).

There are also daily challenge levels that let you try out premium IAP plants and earn extra money and gems.

The Zen Garden is pretty bad compared to the original game, but you can get single level plant upgrades through it. I tried not to use those upgrades or the powers if I could help it, which is why I needed to get help from YouTube occasionally.

We just dropped another game, Piczle Lines Jr. Blue!

Based on a very popular logic-puzzle game we released on iOS only back in 2010, we've created a version (first in a series) specifically aimed at younger players (though enjoyable by all!). It's a bit of an experiment, but we've gone for a paid app with NONE of the trappings of modern money making slyness. No IAPs, no ads, no log-ins, no internet connection required to play. We've even added a "child proof" options menu so that parents can let their kids enjoy the game without having to worry about them resetting the puzzle data or turning the BGM music on and such.

I was tempted to get AG drive, but get the feeling it won't run very well on my 5s. shame as was getting a real designers republic / Wipeout vibe off it.

AG Drive ran well enough on my iPhone 5. If you don't mind the tiny screen it'll probably play well for you on a 5s.
 
Looking for some good loot based games on the iPad...anyone got any good suggestions? Paid or free, doesn't really matter. Still new to the ecosystem so I'm trying to decipher what's good compared to the shovelware lol.
 
Lady Layton (just announced from Level 5 for mobile and 3DS) will be sooooooooo mine.
They should port all past Layton too.
 
I never heard about Severed before but just saw a trailer and it looks really intriguing.
Anyone can fill me in?

Looks some sort of adventure/exploration/Infinity Blade like combat thing with a very peculiar graphical style.
I get you have to cut specific limbs to beat opponents and maybe trace spells on screens too.

I can vouch for this. I'm currently stuck in the beach world on day 28 (lose fewer than five plants) and the zombies they throw at you are ridiculous: surf zombies, cthulu zombies, fisherman zombies, and the giant crab zombie together in a single match is bonkers.

I can't wait to move on to the next world.
 
Anyone with multiple accounts finding it harder and harder to update? It used to be that it would simply update everything, then about a year ago only apps that were downloadable in the region you are logged in, now as of today I can't even update Facebook because I had originally downloaded it with my US account. Does anyone know what is going on here?

I can't log into my US account without messing up my iBooks and iTunes downloads. This has become quite troublesome. Short of repurchasing everything in my current region what can I do?

Beach World was definitely the hardest from my experience too. Which was weird since it's pretty much the middle of the game.

-Ice World was fine, I don't remember anything too bad about it other than the gimmick of stopping your plants from freezing.
-Aztec World was pretty easy from what I remember because you get a lot of sun by planting on special tiles, there are some annoying zombies, but they're manageable.
-80's World got tough because of some of the new zombies.
-Dinosaur World is tough, but actually pretty fun. The dinosaur gimmick works surprisingly well since you get a new plant to manage them and you also get some GREAT new plants that help you in all the areas (a new Wall Nut that is tougher and can be planted quicker, and a new potato mine that arms faster and does an AOE explosion like the cherry bomb).
-Modern day is just a mix of all the zombies from the other areas. It has some REALLY tough levels, some that require almost PERFECT reflexes in addition to really specific plant selection, but I was able to do most of them without too much trouble.

Played like 10 or more levels and it is fun. Will definitely be playing more...

Also, IAP removes ads and instead of having a watch a video to skip a level, it does that for 'free'

Also, it was discovered by Killercow on Twitter, and since he didnt post it, I took the liberty of doing so myself..
