iPhone 6 or Plus?

Upgrading from a 5S. I feel that the screen difference isn't that big going to the regular 6. I think that the Plus would be a bigger upgrade.

Thoughts?

Off the top of my head, the + has OIS, landscape mode, and a better battery. Not sure if those are worth the extra size for you.

The 6 plus is comically big.

Not the screen, 5.5" is my favorite screen size. The actual phone is completely oversized.

I bet next years phone will reign the size in some.

I have the plus and thought I would hate the size more (it is still awkward) but I got used to it pretty fast, and the battery life is incredible. I *never* worry about my battery dying anymore, which on my 5s happened every day.

Im wrestling with this decision right now as well. Leaning towards the plus.

Got the 6+ and never looked back. The 6 is also nice but once you use that 5.5 inch screen it's hard to go back.

Battery life is also nice as my battery easily last longer than the battery on my sisters 6.

5S to 6 isn't a big jump.

5S to 6+ is actually a jump in size, battery life, and how u use ur phone.

Go big or stick with ur 5S

I'm happy with 6. The 6+ loses the phone look. I can't imagine James Bond pulling out a phone the size of a 6+.

And 6 is already hard enough to use one-handed. I'm big, too.

They most likely will keep the design the same for the 6s/6s+ then change it on the iPhone 7.

I have the plus and it's great, couldn't imagine going smaller if I had the option.

I have average to small hands and it hasn't been a problem.

Tip: get a case with a kickstand, it's super handy

I originally got the 6, but went with the 6 Plus in the end. It's definitely a bit more unwieldy, but the resolution makes a big a difference, in my opinion.

I may go back down to the 6 size once they put a 1080p-level screen in it.

I'm sure James Bond wouldn't post on Neogaf either...

128 GB 6+ for life!

I would recommend going to 6 from the 4 or 4S.

Most people who went from 5 or 5S to 6 have been disappointed. On the other hand 6+ switchers loved the bigger size and the better battery.

6+ is generally better in specs and battery life. Regarding in size, I don't like to have a big phone so I opted to get the 6 for myself and its great regardless.

I'll say this though, I feel that the 6 is too big to use with just one hand but it feels small when using both hands. Might seem a minor inconvenience but it can really become a peeve for you in the long run.

Love the 6, I tried my parent's 6+ and found it frustrating to use because I hold my phone in one hand and that just wasn't possible for me on the 6+. I upgraded from the 4 though, so it's basically like moving from a postage stamp to an envelope for me.

Love my plus. Only drawback is it's sometime tricky one handed, but most of the time I am not using that way anyway, and the extra screen space is a great benefit especially when away from my iPad.

My wife and I just walked out of the Apple Store an hour ago with 2 brand new 128 GB 6+ phones and we couldn't be happier with our purchases. It is a very obvious upgrade.

Go big or go home.

I got the 6 + mainly because I wanted the better battery life and coming off the GS3, I felt like I wanted something bigger. It definitely does make for a good browsing experience as well.

If you have an iPad or a tablet, I'd recommend just grabbing a 6. If not, 6+ all the way.

Personally I went with the 6 as I use the phone one-handed very frequently while walking, listening to music, etc. The battery life is quite noticeably better than my 5; with heavy use I can get a full day and with light use I can get two or three. The screen is higher PPI on the 6 Plus but there are very, very few places where it makes a visible difference. The only thing I really wish the 6 had is OIS, but aside from that I'm quite happy with the regular 6.

I'd say try them both out and go with the size you prefer. Unless you are a road warrior or very heavy user the regular 6's battery life is plenty sufficient and the other differences are fairly minor.

My roomate has a 6+ and it is ridiculous. I feel like its novelty would wear off as soon as you realized how impractical it is to have a phone that large and no pocket to fit it in. I'm even wondering why they made the 6 bigger than the 5S. The screen size has never been an issue for me.

I wouldn't be able to fit 6+ comfortably in my front pocket, even 6 is pushing it a bit, and I feel like I'm sometimes putting some pressure on the phone when I crouch down to put the shoes on etc, which was never the case with 5. I also think 6+ is too heavy for a phone, coming from super-light 5. Regular 6 is almost as light, but noticeably bigger.

Isn't the 6 plus the same size as the nexus 6? If it is, I've played around with my buddy's nexus 6, and that thing is way too big for me. I say that as a 6'2 male with big hands. I have an iPhone 6 and I think it's almost the perfect size, I just wish the bezels weren't so big.

Now, if the size doesn't matter to you get the 6 plus. It has the better camera, better screen, and better battery life.
