Been out for a few days now. Seems like it just added new transitions to the Photo feature.

That's the weird thing. It's dated 3-23-05 but I've been checking every few days since the last update (which promised a separate update for photo users sometime in March) and I'd swear to it not being around as of 2 days ago, at least.

It also adds support for the Camera Adaptor thingie unveiled last month.

Does iTunes automatically inform you when you connect an ipod to it? If not I'll leave it until the camera adapter comes out.

Any idea when its due? The fact you can view your pictures to make sure they arrived safe and sound is massively useful (unlike the belkin etc ones), and its a definite purchase for me.

I don't understand your question. You want to know if iTunes diplays a pop up or something when you connect an iPod to your computer?

I have my iTunes open up when I plug an iPod in. Does that count?

I wondered if iTunes lets you know that there is a new ipod update software for your ipod. It tells you when there is a new itunes - i figured it could do the same for when you connect your ipod.

Or do you have to check the support section of apple.com regularly?
