Do women/men actually find extreme bodybuilders attractive? It just looks like it hurts to have so many muscles contracting at the time 24/7. SOme muscle is great but the competitors are of a different breed I guess.

This proves that everything is OK in Iraq. Thank you Mr Bush for restoring peace to the region and ending terrorism as we know it.

I don't understand the "it looks like it hurts" thing...a BBer flexing his arm is doing the same thing a skinny guy or a fat guy is doing...it's just he's in better shape so you can see the definition and striations. Anyway...they don't look that lean 24/7, they cut up for 6 to 8 weeks before competition, and for some, off-season and pre-contest weights can vary very drastically.

It's mainly because it looks like their stretching their skin beyond capacity, and the tension in the veins only serves to further illustrate that idea. Not to say that they are actually are stretching their body to dangerously high levels of elasticity (lol), but that it just seems rather painful to have walk around like that.

You can be severly obese and not feel any pain in your skin, considering it is basically a large, elastic organ that's meant to be stretched. Same for "cutting" it-you're just shrinking your skin around your muscles by removing fat and bulking up tendons. The only problem with stretching your skin too badly is it losing its elasticity and hanging off your body like a sack

Looks like a black albino, whom are indeed the rarest human beings on earth (even more than white albinos)

BTW most girls will tell you that they dislike people so built, but at the end of the day they will melt in front of a male stripper with an outrageous body development. Looks like bodybuilders are only ugly to the female crowd when they are flexing on a competition, but not when they are dancing or hanging around on a nice shirt :p

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
A good friend of mine is deathly afraid of albinos. Can't stand looking at them... A real phobia.

*can't wait 'til she checks her e-mail*

Well, I suppose that might be true. I don't really hang around girls that like to watch strippers.

And holy shit, XS+ is spot on with the MadBall comment!

Those are some strange girls then.

Nah, it just doesn't really do it for them. It's not that they don't appreciate eye candy, but they wouldn't be caught dead in a strip club.

I understand that, I'm not contesting the fact that body builders are in fact, not in pain. I was just addressing Omni's question concerning his question about why people feel that way about body builders.

As for obese people, it's probably because people in that sort of predicament don't look like an overfilled balloon. The skin is a highly elastic organ, but having cullolose being the main causation and having properties not consisting of something that looks like it's so thinly distributed it has no other option but to burst. Being fat just looks like you have a bunch of excess skin... again, I'm not stating that this is the actual nature, but it's what it looks like. ^_^
