Hah, I really can't think of a better well-known actor to fill Stark's shoes than Downey. He absolutely looks the part and has a background in what it is to be utterly boozed/drugged out that few can compete with. I dare say I'm psyched for a comic book movie...

Wow, I had no expectations for this movie and haven't been following it, but the original suit looks great and Downey Jr. is perfect. (Hopefully the second suit will look more realistic than that last pic.) This could be a really great movie, as Stark is a great character, but I'm still not getting my hopes up.

Awesome! Please don't let this get ****ed up. Everything looks good. It's a very good live action interpretation of the comics, and Jon Favreau is a competent enough director to make it work.. It all comes down to the script.

You obviously didn't see the episode of Magnum P.I. where he was stranded at sea and had to survive for days by treading water and he had hallucinations about his father's death in Korea.

Both suits are looking good, and the beautiful thing is if the budget allows there could be more thats only the original and updated modular models. I just hope they can get him to move naturally in it not overly robotic.
