I rarely watch that. I prefer watching Vance and the rest at 11 on channel 4, because you have to wait so long to get to the stuff I'm most interested (such as the weather) on the 10:00 news. Also there's almost always something else on at 10 I'd rather watch.

So I haven't seen the technical issues you mention. Could be they have some new staff and/or new equipment and are going through some growing pains.

Charlotte, NC's WCCB Fox 18 is absurd.

Let's go a step further. All local Fox news stations are a joke.

We actually had a fairly good local fox news station until about 3 months ago. Then the affiliate was bought by someone else and went to hell. The new one has the most annoying logo ever. It takes up about a quater of the screen and never goes away.
