Well? I signed up for a free month trial for Canadian Netflix, but it seems like most of the shows up are past seasons and not up to date? I only want Hulu and Netflix for TV shows. Yet, Hulu is not available here. Which is a shame, I'd happily pay for the service.

Netflix only buys the rights for whole seasons of a series, which is why it won't be up to date (until a season ends, of course.)

You can easily double or triple your Netflix viewing by getting a VPN through to the American one (which I've noticed is heavier in the TV department, anyway).

To answer straight, though, I doubt Hulu will ever come here. As noted -- CRTC and rights laws all up in the way.

It's pretty damn lame that is still hasn't been resolved. I don't get why we have all these geolocks on stuff between Canada and the US. We share 99% of all media content.

Distribution issues, probably.

We have our own networks here that actually host full episodes of American shows after they air.
