Is Kendrick Lamar on Sia - "The Greatest" the most phoned in feature of all time?

Bruh u are stuck in the early 2000's holy shiiiit Chingy? What a list

Haha! Are you at that point in your 30s or 40s where you stop seeking out new music and just listen to whatever you listened to in high school and college on endless repeat?

I'm 28 and I love to discover new music. I listen to all kinds of genres.
This is totally a coincidence but just last week I stumbled upon some music that I loved during my high school days. That lead on a Spotify spree where I listened to all kinds of stuff that I loved back then and I honestly feel like rap/hip hop in the early to mid 2000s was way better than what we have now.
I had 50 Cent, G-Unit (including the solo endeavors), Kanye and Jay-Z on repeat all day long back then.
Now I'm not claiming to listen to everything that is out there so there might as well be stuff that I'd prefer to the older music and I just don't know it but just judging by the stuff that makes it to the top that is honestly how I feel about it. Everyone has their own taste in music but I just saw 50 Cent getting mentioned and I had to say something because I just went through his stuff a few days ago. :)

How about Wayne's first appearance on a song slash feature?

Na, na, na, na, na
After you back it up, then stop
Then wha-wha-what
Drop it like it's hot
Now after you back it up, then stop
Now, wha-wha-wha-what
Drop it like it's hot
Now drop it like it's hot
Drop drop it like it's hot
C-M-B make you drop it like it's hot
Drop it like it's hot
Drop-drop it like it's hot
Drop it like it's hot
Drop-drop it like it's hot

Iconic tbh

It doesn't have to be offensive it just has to not be a corny piece of shit, which most of his pop features fail to do

I really like his verse on Don't Wanna Know, it's short, but catchy af

No more “please stop”
No more hashtag boo'd up screenshots
No more tryna make me jealous on your birthday
You know just how I make it better on your birthday, oh
Do he do you like this, do he woo you like this?
Do he lay it down for you, touch your poona like this?
Matter of fact, never mind, we gon' let the past be
Maybe his right now, but your body's still with me, whoa

Couldn't agree more. People putting his name near any of the greats gives me the vapors. KRS would straight clown Kendro any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I can't even imagine want KRS feat. with someone like Sia or Lady Gaga would sound like.

nah man Snoop Dogg is king of shitty features

he literally phones them in, like on this monstrosity of a song. Doesn't even show up in the video, probably never showed up in the studio either. Everyone involved with this song should be put in prison.

goddamn i love these bad songs and videos they are the greatest! Corey dancing as michael jackson is the visual definition of rock bottom.

Here is my contribution, busta rhymes with Ron Brownz auto tuned singing in fake arabic. It is the perfect storm of technological trash terror, especially combined with their weird double dong hand movements.

I think you are insane to think this is the greatest phoned in feature. It's actually good giving the tone of the song. It fits.

I've heard 1 million more phoned in features.

Lamar does soooo many verses on *insert pop artist* songs.

Can you imagine Pac or Biggie pulling fugazi stuff like that? Yeah yeah, different times I guess but that's a huge reason I would not put in him the same category.

It's way too many to not ignore.

This just comes off so funny like some lame machismo stuff to me. Like big or pac would have been above doing easy features and getting paid. Please get out of here with this.

Real talk best rap feature ever on a pop song was Ol Dirty Bastard on that Pras/Mya song. Apparently the dude wasn't even supposed to be on it but he was fucked up on drugs and walked into the studio and insisted that he record a verse. Pras just humored him and it ended up getting on the song.

His verse on the new Weeknd album is pretty solid.
Nah b, and that album is fucking garbage too.

People like things they're familiar with. If you found a song that came out yesterday that you like and listen to it as many times as you have "In da Club" over the next fifteen years, you'll probably like it as much.

That's amazing lol
