Looks like it from the pictures, doesn't it? If true, that will be another nice "richness" design feature, like the slot loading drive or the glossy looking shell.

Yeah, I think PS3 looks like something a lot more expensive than it will end up costing, much like PSP if fact. I don't know who had input in that controller redesign though 
That one's just bizarre...
That one's just bizarre...The controller is terrible, especially when you put it up against the sleekness of the console. Someone needs to be fired over at Sony for this one.
edit - Anyways, it does look like they are touch sensitive which would be a great touch to the high-tech and expensive vibe that the PS3 gives off.

and what's up with the trigger buttons on the controller? they look like they've been designed and tested by someone with index fingers and middle fingers swapped...
