yeah you could play it, but most people will tell you that rear projection is not the way to go.

True, but Xbox 360 will upscale games to 1080i and output it to this TV if selecting the 1080i mode.

So yes, it'll work for Sexbox 360. I'm not a big fan of RPTV sets for gaming due to burn in issues.

Burn in, general image quality and no 720p give this a thumbs down. Might as well just get like a 30" 1080i CRT for $500-600. It'll look better and leave you money to buy a real tv later.

I just want something good to play 360 on when it comes out, will this do the trick nicely? It's about the right price I want too (thats in Australian dollars btw).

So if one wants a >40" TV without burn in they must get Plasma, LCD, or DLP. Is that right?
