Lindsay Lohan hijacked an SUV from a near-stranger, took it on a 100-mph chase with three men inside, and then had the nerve to tell cops, "The black kid was driving."
That's the shocking account given by the SUV's passengers who are surprised they survived the white-knuckle ride from Malibu to Santa Monica that ended with the star's arrest on drunken-driving and drug possession charges.
"I was honestly terrified," Dante Nigro, owner of the GMC Denali, told the entertainment news site TMZ.com yesterday.
"That was the craziest car ride I've ever been in, and she didn't care," said Nigro's pal Jakon Sutter. "She just kept going...like we were joyriding in a parking lot."
The young men say the fresh-from-rehab Lohan was crazed with rage and drunk on fame - not to mention the cocktails and shots they say she downed before the wild episode.
"I can't get in trouble - I'm a celebrity," Lohan allegedly bragged as the young men pleaded with her to stop the car. "I can do whatever the f--- I want."
Their paths crossed with Lohan's because Nigro, 20, is a friend of Tarin Graham, who was the "Mean Girls" star's assistant.
Nigro was invited to a Malibu party by Lohan on Monday and brought along buddies Sutter and Ronnie Blake, who waited outside in the Denali.
An argument between Graham and her boyfriend erupted and spilled onto the street, and Lohan eventually inserted herself into the dispute.
After Graham quit her job and left in her car, Lohan allegedly reached through the window of the Denali, grabbed the keys, jumped into the empty driver's seat and took off - with Blake and Sutter in back and Nigro riding shotgun.
"I jump out of the car as she's just about to start accelerate," Blake said. "She runs over my foot...and she didn't stop."
"That's right when I go to try and grab the wheel and get her to stop," Nigro said. "That's when she's like, 'If you touch me, I'll sue you.'"
Lohan pursued Graham's Tahoe down the Pacific Coast Highway at 100 mph, pulling several U-turns - but the assistant managed to elude her, the men said.
So the actress headed for Graham's house in Santa Monica, blowing stop signs and red lights and nearly causing a head-on collision, they said.
When they got to the house, Graham's mother, Michelle Peck, was pulling up in a Cadillac Escalade, and Lohan gunned it again - forcing Peck to flee in reverse. When Nigro and Sutter begged her to slow down, she said, "I can do whatever I want. Wanna see?" and sped up, they said. Peck, who was on the phone to 911 and didn't realize Lohan was driving, eventually pulled into a parking lot near the police station. Lohan jumped out to confront her.
That's when cops showed up - and Lohan allegedly tried to weasel out of trouble by claiming Sutter was behind the wheel.
"We can hear her saying, 'No, I wasn't driving, the black kid was driving,'" Nigro said.
"She starts yelling to me, 'Tell him I didn't do anything,'" Sutter added.
But cops smelled booze on Lohan's breath, and after she flunked a sobriety test, they busted her. They said they also found cocaine in her pocket.
A lawyer for Nigro, Sutter and Blake said they are considering legal action against Lohan.
In her only statement since the arrest, Lohan claimed she's "innocent."
