It begins...(Shining Tears)

Brandon F

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
Well, X-play just gave it a 1/5, dubbing it the worst RPG Adventure of the generation, in the same episode as the review for Full metal Alchemist I might add.

Didn't a few other reviews dish out some low scores as well already?(Besides Bebpo) I hate to admit I am still somewhat curious to try it, but the gameplay clips certainly didn't make for a compelling case.

So who's taking bets on the quality of Musashi 2...?

well it may be bad, but I'm willing to bet they didn't actually play it. rather they looked at the screens.

The new Musashi game was god-awful at last year's E3.. seriously, one of the worst games I played at the show if not THE worst. The engine though seemed like it needed SERIOUS work (the graphics were very, very glitchy and low-res), so maybe it will be slightly better at release, but the gameplay seems almost unsalvageable.

Musashi got quite a solid score in Game Informer: 8,25 / 7,5
In the early media it looked like shite, but the small movies on the new japanese site look a bit better graphics wise. But the character design...ugh.

Haha. Geez...

Is it out in the US yet? I'm gonna pick it up anyway. Can't resist...

Comes out on the 22nd.

I'm very sad to hear all of this. Dry your tears, Sega.

FMA got a 2/5. Bland levels, an endless supply of simpleminded drones to kill, and the novelty of alchemy doesn't make up for it's own failed potential. They did enjoy the anime sequences, and the mechanics do work if you can put up with the extreme redundancy.

Having just started watching the series(which is keeping my interest quite surprisingly), I am curious myself. The demo didn't really seem all that bad, but that was a quickie 20 minute testdrive.

And you'd lose that bet. Don't people ever get tired of leveling the "they didn't really play it" fallacy at negative reviews?
