expecting a decent community in a Blizzard title is simply foolish.

Well to be fair, I avoid DBZ and FFVII-themed characters like the plague in most online RPGs, but yeah, seeing as WoW sells to a largely thirteen year-old internet cafe demographic, the community was destined to blow.

I'm sure there are some good people to be found in WoW, but I don't know how you play without constantly filtering/blacklisting all the morons out of general chat. I don't even want to think how the raids are organized, if at all

Oh, I know plenty of decent folk on WoW. And it's not to bad avoiding the goons.

I turn off general chat altogether, and I managed to snag a decent guild fairly quickly. And not to bash any of the PvPer's, but I assume you're going to find a more emotionally stable audience on a PvE server.

wow....fantasy names and fantasy setting thrown right out the window.

1st rule: Turn off General Chat - you'll cut out 99.9% of that nonsense

2nd rule: Get some taste in names. Seriously they suck harder than a tooth-challenged crack whore.

Anyone who would let you in their guild with names like that aren't worth playing with as they are most likey in the 12-14 suburban yo white-boy "I'm a Gangsta" phase that went out once it hit the McDonalad commercials. :lol

Its like those cool mall chicks who think that "2COOLCHK" is a badass licence plate.

That's why they're on the PvE server, otherwise, they wouldn't be.
