why is it only in the usa cars have alarms that go off if u touch the car?
Because we have all sorts of money to waste on stupid products, that's why.

Because, unfortunately, people like to feel important while annoying the shit out of other people.

Does this mean that there is some rain headed my way still? I was disappointed earlier that the rain stopped, and I went outside a few minutes ago and I could see patches of blue sky. I' about 27 miles west of LA, so maybe it'll hit me soon. Did I ever mention I love the rain?

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

(like a madman)

HAHAHAH

Right on cue. Immediately after I posted that, I heard some booming thunder. SWEEEEEET

HOOOOLY SHIT

Just a few minutes ago, it started raining in a torrential downpour. Just all of a sudden from not a drop in the sky, to heavy rain. Then the lightning. The sky always has that weird yellow-ish look to it when there's an electrical storm, you know? So cool. The wind was intense, and making the rain sheet across the street in waves. I could see the water streaming off of people's roofs sideways. And then it started hailing! Too bad it didn't last for more than a couple of minutes. The gutters were overflowing within a couple of minutes, and the water got up to the sidewalk that's about five feet in from the street. At least I was able to stand in my front door and watch all this happen. It would have been a bitch to be out driving, walking or running, which I saw a few people doing.

The local radar (I'm near LAX) is clear, and I can see blue sky. But over Los Angeles proper, there are RED cells on the NOAA short range base reflectivity, and I can see a massive area of clouds in that direction.

There are several large bands of rain northwest of Santa Barbara, but I don't know if they will be dropping into this area or not. The forecast for Tuesday afternoon/evening is for more rain, though.

Ya, it's pretty nice here in OC right now. I really hope we get some awesome thunder like we had friday night/saturday morning, though.

ROFLMAO!! :lol :lol :lol

I'm in central Cali and we're getting some really whirred weather out here: one minute there's pure sunshine but it is raining cats and dogs by the next. I also heard there was a tornado that touched down in San Diego county... that's pretty scary if it is true.

The highlight of my day was watching the local news and seeing that a tornado picked up a port-a-potty and then threw it back out at some guy's truck.

See, I made a thread a couple of days ago and people replied in it like it was no big deal.

Today I hear that if the rain had stopped this morning, the amount of downfall for the year would've been the fifth-highest in CA history, so wtf.

It was pretty scary coming to work this morning, I passed multiple accidents and whatnot.

+ Tsunami's of a few months ago
+ Hurricanes in Florida this year
Freezing rain next? WATCH OUT CK!

Plus, they're convening the Sanhedrin in Israel for the first time in over 1600 years, and are looking to rebuild Solomon's Temple. The end draws nigh, I tell you... ;) :p

All we need is a hail of frogs and we're set! :D
