Well, since its been 5 months since I made that post. Wait, I still think that. Taiko's song list wangs chung. The good songs in Taiko are very good, yes, but on average Konga's songs are much more enjoyable.

Hard is a walk in the motherfucking park. Oni is difficult, sure, but compared to other rhythm games it's simple.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I love Taiko. I was just responding to that one dude who said that it seemed impossible.

Well, since its been 5 months since I made that post. Wait, I still think that. Taiko's song list wangs chung. The good songs in Taiko are very good, yes, but on average Konga's songs are much more enjoyable.

There were only two songs in the entire Konga soundtrack (the US version) that I didn't want to mute. It was the worst music for any music/rhythm based game ever made. Taiko has its own music-related problems, but at least it's not trying to rape your ears or treat you like you're five years old with a roarin' rendition of fucking BINGO.

I think it's possible because when i'm in the menu it says "plug another Taiko or analogue controler" at the bottom right of the screen like if a second player could join.

well, the eb at the eaton centre only had one copy and an employee grabbed it on friday. i managed to pick up dark cloud 2 as a consolation prize though. stupid employees.

9th Style only sold 13K for the first week it was out, in Japan. I think they're more afraid of releasing a game that won't sell. IIDX games are great for the 18,000 people who avidly play them... but nobody else gives a shit, at all.

KOA did try to bring Beatmania to US arcades, but an edited name, edited song lyrics and song list discrepancies didn't help anything. Any chance Beatmania had to catch on in the US is long gone.

Is the drum made to withstand lots of beating? I went and bought the game (at 15$ CDN, who can say no) and I find that you have to hit strong for the game to register a tap.

well I went to 1 store first, but I saw it and couldn't get it right there because I had little time before work, so the girl working said can call another place for you and throw it on hold...and did so and worked out, new store location had 2..so Im like great.
Forward to after work I walk up and the guys there like riight, one sec....says its 19.99 so I mention it was on clearence at the other store for 9.89, and mentioned who I was dealing with and if he was cool calling the other store for a check on the sku, called up and there pc/pos terminal said the lower price, so he said thats werid and was like I thought we fixed it, and didn't really think on it..then just rang me up..no fuss no muss...maybe this is turning into YMMV?

this game is so much more exciting than donkey konga. i love it!

Went to and called a few EBs today, but no luck, I could not find a copy anywhere.... Was anyone near/in Vancouver able to get in on this deal?
I did manage to grab a copy of Star Ocean for $15 though, so all is not lost.
