ferrio must be playing the PS2 version. the PS2 version does have shittier graphics, so i guess it's more difficult to avoid them.

FYI, you dont need to shoot them, you can take them out with your knife.

When I first started the game I avoided them just fine. Then after emerging aimlessly (stupidly) from the tunnel I was blown away by a stick of dynamite. As soon as Leon stood up - *clang*

On my second playthrough, I accidentally led Ashley right into one. Oops.

I just pretend that I don't totally suck at spotting them, because Ashley is, in fact, worse at it.
