Although, given recent crimes being committed by the tranny community (or by their surrogates), the public at large is starting to wake up to the fact that something may be terribly wrong with these people.

I continue to praise providence for the fact that I've had no interest in Harry Potter in any of its forms, long before any of these people became controversial.
 
I saw that post come across my Twitter feed last night and my impression of it was JK Rowling was holding her tongue for a really long time but she was completely fed up and finally unleashed herself

Not really. They are defended by liberals because of their core ideals, namely that everyone should be free to live their lives as they choose as long it doesn't hurt others, that all citizens deserve equal rights and protection, regardless of race, sex, gender, etc, with a belief that we can live in a pluralistic and tolerant society where different ways of life can coexist.

I know it can be confusing to some conservatives that liberals can be both tolerant of muslims and trans people, seeing that Islamic beliefs can very transphobic, but even those religious beliefs are tolerated by liberals out of respect for religious liberty, as long as, once again, those beliefs don't lead to discrimination which is when you will get pushback.

tldr libs don't give a fuck about trans, we care about people that are discriminated against

Wokism is a pagan religion, it ticks all the boxes. Alas, putting that aside, the problem with this comparison is that trans are people who need medical and psychological assistance and lefties are using them as cannon fodder for their causes, it's disturbing. As a result, a bunch of them become crazy and violent, which is the logical outcome of mixing mental illness with dangerous drugs.

Good on Rowling. She's been one of the few high-profile "celebrity" figures to consistently take the sensible position as relates to this trans lunacy, and it earned her nothing short of death threats.
 
It was during my first marriage, to a woman that came from a family of millionaires, that I had an epiphany. To grow up rich was an awful existence, a curse of sorts. Not knowing what it was like to be 'normal', to judge others and yourself from on top of the mountaintop of society. That woman had next to no common sense, or what I would learn soon enough thereafter: a total lack of morals and character. She only cared about herself and making money, and her biggest worry was whether to take her medication for her diagnosed bipolar disorder because it made her gain weight. I thought it best to introduce her to actually striking out on her own, doing her own thing, making her own money outside of the family business. It was a romantically foolish idea, but she was all in for a short while. That was, until we actually tried to do it.

After about a week of having a 'normal' job, she absolutely hated showing up to work on time and was in tears about having to work a 40 hour period for something that would barely cover her expensive makeup. She was on the phone every night with her parents, who played up the angle of rewarding her for coming back. It was something else and looking back, I'm glad that we divorced about a year later. On our little adventure, she had cheated on me and I found out. This is sort of a common thing with bipolar females, I don't necessarily like to stereotype, but it's a thing that is very common to that disorder, unfortunately.

We went our separate ways and I know I ended up in a much better place, not monetarily, but for my own sanity. They couldn't pay me to go back to someone like that, ever. I'd rather be alone. I was able to find another woman pretty quickly and surprisingly, we had children around the same time as we saw ourselves at the same pediatrician. I looked at that poor bastard that she ended up with and he had the same look I remembered having when we were married. I felt bad for him, actually. Trapped like a rat in a trap with a goddamn wolverine.

Emma Watson reminds me of that woman so much. What a waste her life ended up being. My daughter loves Harry Potter and idolized Hermione when she was little, but nowadays thinks Ms. Watson is a total idiot based on the crap she posts as it is just empty and oh so out of touch. In a way I feel sorry for her, probably the way J.K. Rowling feels as well toward her. Being so rich her whole life has robbed her of a fulfilling life and she doesn't even realize how heavy a price she has paid. The woman has no soul and the whole world can see it.

When England inevitably course corrects, she's going to probably be one of the ones fleeing I imagine. She probably can get away with it because she's so wealthy, but leaving your homeland is a tricky thing- especially after the damage she has done to their culture. I wish her the best. Maybe she'll come around, but I doubt it.

That said, Rowling wasn't always rich, while Emma Watson has been rolling in money since she was old enough for it to matter. Rowling at least has some lived experiences that Watson will never hope to have.

Biology/medicine/psychology are all linked together and cannot be separated without ignoring the very same idea of empirical science that enables us to assert the earth is round. For a forum-appropriate analogy, it's like claiming all of the separate moving parts in a video game exist in a vacuum and don't affect each other; yet by observing one thing, you can make an empirically-tested prediction about how it will affect another thing. Someone in the field of psychology might prescribe a medicine and dose choice judged by biology, because they know different neurotransmitter issues present themselves.

It's not an extreme take; it's an observation, like the sun rises, water is wet, just upgraded to causal relationships, like; water evaporates, and makes rain. But there is a hard limit on how complex science can get before people come out to deny it on their magic cell phones.

Therein lies the problem that we face today. Scientists, medical professionals, and whole swaths of the population are willing to completely ignore every bit of empirical science to placate the trannies and their overly woke allies and supporters.

I think at the end of the day it's safe to assume most celebrities and actors/actresses are the actual worst people you could get political takes or general opinions from. Most of them have no idea what it's like to live as a normal, paycheck-to-paycheck, un-agented person.

It's also pretty telling when you do have one that lived a normal life until stardom, because they usually either shut the fuck up about politics or they are quietly supporters of the opposite to mainstream.
