You can see the exact point it changed when Tyson was about to be his old self from the training videos and he caught him good, then they "huddled," and you can see Jake in his ear like WWE, then Tyson's face dropped and snapped back into bad acting going into limp mode mere seconds after that remained for the rest of the fake ass fight.

It was obvious to anyone who's watched the sport for decades and can rub two neurons together in the smooth jelly they call a brain.

For what it's worth, I don't think that Tyson fight was fixed. Tyson was nearly 40 years past his prime. I remember him getting beaten up by people like Danny Williams and Kevin McBride 20+ years ago, it was sad to watch. He was a shadow of his young self even then.

Tyson peaked incredibly young, and that's what people remember him for, but he was on an irreversible slide by the end of the 1980s.

Fair enough, but I don't think Tyson today would stand much of a chance against any professional boxer. Even those retired MMA fighters Jake Paul used to pad his resume would probably wreck him.

There are some boxers who I could imagine being able to put on a good show at an advanced age - Mayweather for instance - but the days of Tyson being super quick and dominant ended with the Buster Douglas fight.

He's still my all-time favourite fighter. I love those 1980s fights, he was a whirlwind of destruction. He's just one of those sportsmen who had a very brief, early period of supremacy, like George Best in football.

Yeah, I think marrying Robin Givens was basically the end of prime Tyson. When he fought Douglas he was still only 23 but already past his peak and drowning in the celebrity swamp.

He was ridiculously fast for a heavyweight in his teens and early 20s, but once the speed was lost to drugs and alcohol, all he had was a puncher's chance. At age 58 he didn't even have that, hence the inability to land a decent shot on Jake Paul.
