Somebody fill me in on this Rosa Mendes/Michael Hayes story.
Chris Masters tweeted: “So if I had to tell you one smackdown diva who gave freebird hayes an “Oral” agreement to keep her job, who’d you guess?”

Everyone broke down the Smackdown diva roster and guessed out Rosa.

More detailed spoilers from Smackdown:

* The show opens with a vidoe package regarding last week’s World Heavyweight Championship match between Big Show and Daniel Bryan, followed by a plug for the rematch with No Countout and Disqualification rules for later tonight.

* World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring to cut a promo about his rematch with Big Show later tonight, but Mark Henry’s music hits. Henry comes out on the stage and tells Bryan that he is banned from ringside for the match. Henry adds that he wants a title shot on next week’s show.

* Justin Gabriel b. Heath Slater with the 450 Splash.

* Backstage, Drew McIntyre entered SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long’s office and talked about his last chance tonight. Long reminded Drew that if he did not win tonight, he would consider firing him on the spot. McIntyre left and Aksana entered.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes b. Ezekiel Jackson with the Cross Rhodes in a non-title match. After the match, Cody gave Booker T a dirty look.

* Backstage, WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes ran into his brother Dustin. They bicker about Cody not showing proper respect to other wrestlers.

* Hunico, along with Camacho, came out on the bicycle and joined the announce team for the next match.

* Ted DiBiase b. Drew McIntyre with Dream Street. After the match, Drew looked visibly upset over the loss.

* Sheamus b. Jinder Mahal with the Brogue Kick.

* David Otunga b. Santino Marella with a new finisher.

* Backstage, AJ told World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan that she was going to be in his corner tonight when he defends the title against Big Show in a No Countout and Disqualification match.

* “Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay w/The Funkettes b. Tyson Kidd with a body drop.

* Backstage, Drew McIntyre went to approach the office of SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, but changed his mind about going in and walked away depressed.

* Tamina b. Natalya with the Superfly Splash.

* Wade Barrett came out and cut a promo about taking out Randy Orton a few weeks back. Sheamus comes out and says they have unfinished business from the week before. Sheamus challenges Barrett to a match next week. Barrett takes a cheap shot at Sheamus and then leaves without uttering a word.

* World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan w/AJ vs. Big Show in a No Countout and Disqualifications match went to a no contest when AJ, who had accompanied Bryan to the ring, suffered a W.M.D. from Show after Bryan had ducked the move. After the match, trainers came out to take AJ to the back and Bryan went along to close the show.

Regarding Big Show/Daniel Bryan

If what I'm reading is how I'm seeing it, they have essentially made this feud a "no good guy" feud, that is if Big Show ends up being non-apologetic and maybe makes a comment about how the ring is a dangerous area for a girlfriend to be and how she shouldn't have been there, etc, etc.

By the powers that be, please let it be true. Just make it two people who want to beat each other up.

I'm thinking it's going to be setup that Bryan schemed to bring AJ to the ring and position himself and her in a way that baits Show into giving him the WMD and he evades it so AJ gets hit. Basically, Bryan's way of getting out of a no DQ match.

Bah, that would be so lame. :/

It would be interesting if they set him up as some kind of Pro Wrestling mastermind with a deep knowledge of wrestling rules. Laurinaitis/Long or Show/Henry come up with various stipulations to what, on paper, looks like an easy big man vs. little guy squash match. But Bryan keeps coming up with escape plans that counter every stip they put on the match so that he can retain for as long as possible.

I don't think WWE would be able to play that idea up right.
The worst location to have a fire tat.

I AM Finally the NWA Champion.

I have achieved the boyhood dream. I'm so happy...

Yes, the bellas are the hottest, oh gosh I love the Bellas :3
Heh heh heh heh. G-fex champion? Has the world gone backward since my departure?

Bryan & Vinny Show - January 11th

The Bryan and Vinny Show is back and we've got tons to discuss. Some non-wrestling info to get out of the way first about a new baby in the house, then PRO-RASSLIN' AT LARGELY ITS FINEST. Once we get an awful Raw out of the way we'll talk about an outstanding edition of Smackdown and also some GREAT WWF pro-wrestling from 1985 featuring the likes of Randy Savage and Bret Hart.

Figure Four Daily - January 10th

Figure Four Daily with Bryan Alvarez returns today with special guest JOHNNY GARGANO to talk headlining the final match ever in the famed ECW Arena this Saturday night versus Ricochet, winning the Open the Freedom Gate title, working THE FUNKASAURUS Brodus Clay on Smackdown a few months ago, words he got from John Cena at that show, why he changed his look, improvement over the past few years, whether he's nervous about this weekend, Jericho's new gimmick and so much more.

You know, this might just be crazy fan booking but I hope Dolph wins the WWE title at Bragging Rights. It's the perfect PPV for his character. Bragging, showing off, kind of the same thing. I have faith that Toronto will cheer him like crazy too, especially if Cener is the champion then.

Oh yeah, I bet Toronto would eat that shit up.
