I've just realized that Raw didn't end with a ring full of wrestlers punching each other in order to hype up the chaos of the Royal Rumble, the terrible tradition is broken! unless of course they are saving it for Smackdown and looking at the talent on that show it would be a ring full of jobbers for the most part.

I think they already did that on SD!

You know what bothered me about the lumberjacks? Drew Mcintyre was a lumberjack. Didn't he loose a match where if he lost he was fired?

Rock's gonna be on the March 5th Raw in Boston. I hope that's not the only Raw he'll be on between now and WrestleMania...seems like it's not enough build/momentum.

You know how I know the Royal Rumble PPV is going to be amazing?

Because HHH is showing up the next night to ride its coattails.

Seems that way.

The guy once made $33 million in a year from films, he isn't hurting for money. He also has Hollywood people practically begging him to stay away from wrestling all together for the good of his film career.
He is doing it because he loves wrestling. On one of his recent films he took a whole bunch of NWA tapes to watch when he wasn't filming. Also, his mum is a huge wrestling fan too and loves it when he goes back to wrestling in any way.

Ticket info for the CHIKARA/ROH super show in Chicago April 28th.

-Wrestling fans, you'll have an outstanding opportunity to witness two industry leaders under one roof when both CHIKARA and Ring of Honor play the Frontier Fieldhouse on April 28th, 2012. A specially-priced combo ticket will go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 27th! Individual tickets to both events will also go on sale that date.

Damn, that's cool. Mom's the #1 fan! :)

I just hope you I replied to your post, "seems that way". Not that I think it seems he is doing it for the payday.

I envy Chicago so much right now.

ROH messed up by having 3 iPPVs back to back before the CHIKAROH show. THAT one should be an iPPV.

Btw....CHIKAROH. See what I did there? Yeah, I made that myself.

As of this moment there are 3,128 tickets left for Wrestlemania on Ticketmaster and 7,109 tickets left on Stub Hub.

That means there is a total of 10,237 tickets available for Mania.

Would love for those CHIKAROH shows to be iPPV - or at least for them to be recorded by SMV so they could possibly be released a few days after rather than a few months. Ah well, I'm sure the 10th Anniversary and Florida double-shot should be great iPPVs.

I heard the words Wrestlefest, got excited.

Saw the character list, got even more excited.

An update of the old Technos classic arcade game, with additional characters that are current WWE superstars? I got my hopes up.

Realized it was just an iPhone game, sad face.

Sorry if I seemed to react a bit harshly but I think far too many people are giving him a hard time when to me what he is doing is really cool. Yeh, it's a shame that a bunch of his "appearences" have just been "via satellite" but he is a busy guy so to expect him to appear on lots of episodes of Raw is unrealistic. Also, it would make it less special when he does appear.

I think a lot of wrestling fans still feel he betrayed them by leaving to become an actor. The guy did everything he could in wrestling and wanted to try something new. Wrestling fans will chant "one more match" at a guy until he just can't go anymore. I'm glad that one of my favourite wrestlers growing up isn't going to end up like Jake the Snake or Scott Hall.

Raw Ratings are in it did a 3.18

WWE Raw on Monday, January 23 scored a 3.18 rating for the final Royal Rumble PPV hype, up six percent from a 3.01 rating last week.

Raw averaged 4.62 million viewers, up eight percent from an average of 4.29 million viewers last week. Raw did follow the concerning pattern of second hour viewership declining, though, for the 13th week out of the last 14 weeks. Raw averaged 4.67 million first hour viewers, then declined to an average of 4.57 million second hour viewers.

I wish I could watch the ROH, I wish I could watch Chikara Pro but just Wai Ting they have too low of a production value to even equal TNA, hell I know its still TNA but Ring da King looks better.

Definitely. Let him go out how he wants.

I was this close to searching your post history in this thread since i swore you posted the thread on repeat meme, but i decided that was too much effort

Also, apparently there was footage on youtube floating around of an IoS WWE wrestlefest game. Vid is still up on youtube, but its private now. Cena and Sheamus were in it and it supports DLC/IAP.

OK, i'll give you more info. Using my Google-Fu skills, i found out some things. The trailer was legit and the following people were seen in the trailer

The Undertaker
The Rock
Randy Orton
HBK
Sheamus
HHH
CM Punk
Rey Mysterio
Jake the Snake Roberts
Macho Man Randy Savage
Stone Cold Steve Austin
John Cena
Big BossMan

There was mention of over 30 Superstars. this is the logo

Somebody find the goddamn private link to this video asap!

My only beef with the Rock is that he said he was back for good, and he's been back like two times since.

At least with Austin you know there's an injury and he's contributing with the reality show.

But the one that annoys me the most is how Taker can take off 10 months of the year now, and now one blinks an eye. He immediately gets a main event at the next ppv, and will get his WM match until the day he dies(no way Vince screws it up and has him lose)

If I had $500 for a flight + hotel I'd be in Chicago for that show. But it is so close to Mania I will just have to deal with dvds.

How far are you from Chicago? I'll be coming from Cleveland and I'm planning taking Megabus. I'm thinking of taking a train though because I've never been. Much cheaper then a flight. Just a bit longer, no security checks though!

That's a reward for sticking with Vince since 1990. How many other Superstars can you say have done that?

I'm in deep south GA.

Honestly, he paid his dues in my opinion. He deserves that time off. We don't really need to see Taker week after week fighting; I'd rather have him at his best in the short time that we get to see him wrestle.

Show some respect, son.

HBK, stuck with him the hardest with the screwjob. Dude doesn't get title attention as soon as he's back like Taker does.

I get the WM bit, Taker is undefeated, keep it that way til HHH decides he wants it.

You'd rather see Taker wrestling with an injury, or have him rest until next Wresltemania? I think he also scouts for new talent, but I'm not sure about that.
