He shouldn't win clean but he shouldn't need interference from every heel on the roster either. He couldn't even get the pin off his own finishing move.
I mean I'd prefer he cheated to win (obviously winning clean is out of the question) and not other people cheating for him. There is a big difference even if the end result is the same.
