PGR3 arcade cabinets setup at a recent F1 Grand Prix in Japan, impressed the Japanese gamers fortunate enough to test-drive the setup.
A playable demonstration was setup at a recent F1 event in Japan, and Japanese car-lovers and gamers alike took part to test drive the new game, waiting hours to witness Microsofts Xbox 360 title first hand. The results couldnt be better for Microsoft as gamers were awed by the photorealistic graphics, and detailed environment of their own Shinjyuku in downtown Japan.
The arcade cabinets complete with pedals, steering wheels, and bucket seat, mightve given gamers a little biased opinion, but they were still impressed either way. This can only be good news for Microsoft who is hoping to boost its gaming profile in Japan who typically shy away from the American-made console. This supports already rising Japanese interest due to Rares launch title; Kameo: Elements of Power, which goes with the Japanese interest in Role-Playing games. With these two titles, and Microsoft trying to get hype surrounded into Perfect Dark Zero in Japan, Xbox 360 seems ready to have a stronger foot in the door this generation.
